BOOOOOYAH! I GOT MINE! THE CARD IS IN MY HANDS AS WE SPEAK. Oh, and you'll probably get your's soon, too. Oddworld Inhabitants really DO kick some fan-lovin' ass, I must say. Thanks, everyone working their asses off in SLO and abroad. Getting this stuff can never get old.

C'mon people, it's not even freakin' Thankgiving yet, he's obviously lieing, or got last year's card really, really late...

Hes probably talking about last years card. I doubt OWI even has time right now to try and put something together for christmas really early, while therir busy working away on OW4.

Oh they will send out cards I can almost guarantee that because even if they were busy I am sure Lorne's Secretarys handle that stuff not the production team. I am pretty sure they have like a whole stock of cards that would altimatically get sent out.

But you never know.:D

Oh no, please no - it's November, not December. I truely hope this isn't true. While it's immensely gratifying and humbling to know OWI do such things for us, I'm sick and tired of Christmas already this year. No, it's not because I'm a miserable sod, although that is true; it's because I've already been saturated with it for one and a half months. We've got well over a month to go until Christmas. I don't want to talk about it until December. Wake me up then.

Sorry for the misery - I am still looking forward to the card.

If they did infact send it (which isn't totally hard to belive.), then OWI is either getting an early start this year or just in a rush and want to get the task taken care of.

Im not saying they wont send them. Im just saying I doubt that the new one would be out so soon, unless a bit of evidence or an excerpt etc. could be given.

Although it would be a bit "odd" of them to send it around thanksgiving. But I guess anythings possible.:fuzwink:

e-cards and real ones

I hope I get one this year.

I signed up in like January, but my address in both of the address boxes. Being my non-attentive self, I just assumed that they wanted the address twice. If the postcards are done purely by computer, there might be a problem. If so, the way the postal service operates is bound to get past that. *shrug* Paranoia on my part:)

I do have a question though, have any emails been sent since around January? I haven't gotten any.

Can someone post a picture of all the christmas cards there are?
I almost shure that it was 2 years ago... :(

The last thing I have from them in email is last year's Christmas card. I keep all the emails from OWI ... so unless I misplaced one, that would be it.

Here's last year's card ... I can't find the previous one. Xavier probably has it. ;)

well it was a e-mail card, I don't think anybody did get anything alse 2 years ago...

and there was no comments in the 2003 paper card, only in the 2003 e-mail card

It’s your old pal Alfie wishing each and every one of you a very happy December. Yes, that’s right. December has been chosen as the month of random celebration for no particular holiday. So despite your race, creed or religion, have a very special… December!

In honor of this very special month, all the Inhabitants have decided to take some time off, so if you don’t see any web updates for another month or so, it’s because… no one is here! I’ve decided to take a little trip myself, not falling off the wagon, just taking it for a spin, so to speak. I’ve been feeling a little off lately, I don’t know what’s come over me, it’s as though I might be coming down with this awful feeling of…sincerity, warmth, may even be….. *gulp*…… festive cheer! But don’t worry about me, I am going to look for some exotic new teas to spice up the rehab a bit, and regain my sensibilities. So if you don’t hear from me for a while, rest easy, have a sippy sip, and hang in there, I’ll be back to pester you all with evasive answers and unrealistic grammatical expectations by the middle of January.

But before we part, dear Rehabitants, I wanted to share a bit of prose with you and yours, or their and theirs, or whatever! So until next year, have a wonderful season and enjoy your loved ones (yes, even the gastrointestinally challenged ones)!

i just want to say; that my site should be up by christmas (in america) i celebrate my birthday on the 20th (same as xav's fuzgrin: ) my website will have a whole section dedicated to the winter wonderland on oddworld, but it only opens during december.

Yep, I talked to Alf last night. I asked him about this years card... He said he's already stamping them and hand-signing them! And, I also asked what would be on the front... He said "Many new species you have never seen before."!!! Can't wait! Then I asked him about female Mudokons, and he said "I can't tell you about that, wait for the new Christmas card and see for yourself!" :fuzsmile:

Wow, this is great news, although it has to be said that the prospect of 'new Oddworld creatures' doesn't fill me with the same excited tingles it used to. Too much bad experience and all. If there are going to be female Mudokons, that means we're going to be seeing Sam on the card, or possibly another queen. Because we all know the queens are the only females. *prays we never see Mudokons with large eyelashes and blonde wigs wearing skirts and bikinis*

Regarding Sal, three possibilities spring to mind: he was lying; he got last year's card; or he's somehow got an advance card, which we would have to lynch him for. *hopes all those 'he's' were right'

How does whElk get such a close relationship with Alf? I want one!:D Oh yes, and the card sounds tanfasmic!:fuzgrin:
