What wood you do if there was one day till the end of the world. I wood go on all my fav web sites and say good bye to them. Screw the ahhhhhhhhhh its the end of the world crap. I wood take the time to do the things I never got to do. (and cry)

Funnily enough, the movie Deep Impact was on the telly last night. It expressed a lot of the things this thread could bring out.

I'd most likely be with my family.

I did think about the possiblity of copulating with someone, but what would happen if the world didn't end? I'd be stuck with a child, and the lady friend would be stuck with an unwanted child as well. So no, I probably wouldn't, as that'd be mean.

screw the family crap I wood be spending my time killing my sister and vexx my fav game or some other things.

If there were any way to navigate thoguh traffic jams, I'd attempt to see my "unofficial"ish girlfriend whom I don't get to see much anymore, maybe go with Alcar's idea...;)


But also of course, I would sit at home at home and watch all the "best in the history of the world specials" on TV, you know they'd be on, I'd probably get online and talk to all my friends that were on, try and learn to drive, eat all the junk food I could (sadly, no going out to eat), maybe take a nap (joke). I might go around and break a bunch of stuff for fun, etc...

Then if the world didn't end, I'd have an active sex life, go back to boring TV, gain some weight, have a wrecked car, be well rested, and be forced to file a false insurance claim saying our house ransacked. The claim would, of course, be completed years later, but whatever.

O yea, and I'd hope it wasn't painful.

Id probably pray a little bit. Reveal a lot of hidden and buried thoughts or bottled up emotions. I would spend time with family, invite a bunch of friends over and get that last halo lan party in lol :p. Kiss that special someone. Play some good ol jazz in the background. Just celebrate how life was good bad, and look back with everyone about everything thats happened in my life.

Really I dont know how it would be, but thats just a thought.

I have been thinking what I wood do when the end came and about 2 weeks ago I had a dream about the end and I cant remember why it was hapening. the one thing I wood spend my time with is my computer im on it almost 24-7. Just to think all that humans have created all gone just becase of a astorod or some other thing. its wood be hard to know that the world is ending tomorow. I have a darn good idea of it becase of that dream. it was so real it scary. But dreams are like that

Not trying to sound heroic or anything, but depending on how the world was going to end, I would try to find a way to save it, or at least save myself. I don't know how, but I would try something. But, if the event did come that the earth being destroyed was unavoidable, I would probably go to a car dealership and steal the best car I could, drive out to the middle of nowhere and stop at a great site on top of a huge cliff. Then, when I saw the walls of fire closing in about me, I would drive the car as fast as I could right off that cliff and fly just as the foundations of earth were breaking apart and being hurled into space. Or I would hijack a plane and do something simaler. Maybe I would bring a special someone with me. I of course would say goodbye to my family and watch Lord of the Rings before I left too.

I would probably run the street naked, buy all the marshmallows I could afford, cure cancer, smash my guitar (always wanted to do that) and hit on every vaguely attractive female I know.

I thought my end was very dramatic though!:p Yet, in the end, I would probably do a whole bunch of crazy stuff like you guys.:D

I'd just go around smashing up expensive cars, playing 'Hell Awaits' by Cradle of Filth at full blast, burn stuff, get stoned, get drunk, etc. :)

In the very last hour of life on earth I would grab some beer Labats, a canvas and capture the end in a very awesome painting before I am desintigrated by the intense blast wave. I would make sure my canvas is protected by useing materals that can withstand such a force. To make sure I could do this will take some time to prepair the canvas in the days leading up to it.

If all goes well My likeness my art would survive thus it will drift into the vast reaches of the Universe where it will remain forever.

Knowing that I am about to enter into a new life beyond anything I can imagine, My mark in this reality would be that painting. Afterall in the next life as an artist I would be merely creating new worlds that actually exist.

Sorry if I'm bursting your bubble, but is there actually any canvas that can withstand a meteor crash, being swallowed by the sun, etc...?

If so, make a suit out of it;)

I would most likely put my painting in a mini pod and the force of the blast wave would send the pod hurdling through space.

Somehow science can figure that problem out. Comming up with the special pod. Thats why I said it would take time to prepair such a container to withstand that intense heat and force. Then when the last hour comes I would paint what I see then run to the pod with the painting place it in the pod, throw it into a deep hole bury it with concrete and sit in a chair and die watching the world end.

The earth would be ripped apart into many fragments or astroids by the force, but the pod will be on one of the earth astroids that go hurdling through space. Along of whats left of my body and the piece of earth I live on. Because it was buried deep into the ground it would be buried deep in the astroid when all is set and done frozen for eternity.

I'd take a shit on someones lawn.

I concur with Oddguy. I would rather do something meaningful in my last few hours, what that would be would all depend on the type of situation, and amount of time left before the end.

Hmmm, so, you'd rather do something not so fun yet meaningful...than amazingly fun and not so meaningful. That makes sense...how?

What i would do
 

I would probably become a theif and steal everything i could and enjoy it and just before whatever happend, i'd have jacked a space shuttle with enough supplies for a few months or so and take off (Of course it would be the latest one so it would have hypersleep so i sleep the whole flight or at least die in my sleep)
And laugh how stupid some people were not to join me when i offered them a chance to live. Of course i'd email everybody except the jerks on this fourm and bring them with me along with my family and friends. (The ship would be big enough to hold everyone)

So....Well maybe i'd try to blow up the asteroid by planting a bomb on the satalite I brought and detonating when it touched it.
