X-Factor on Australian TV

I know that most of us would have seen the X-Factor special by downloading it off the internet ... but in case any one is interested (and in Australia), the special will be shown on Australian cable TV this month.

Tuesday Nov 25
7:30 pm
Discovery Channel

Even though I've seen it, it should be good to be able to watch it on TV and see it at a much better quality than the internet version was.

I actually didn't think that we would get this special over here ... I was quite surprised to find it listed in our program guide.

That's good that you guys are getting to watch it on TV down-under. I taped X-Factor when it came on over here and I still have it. I just feel good knowing I can watch it whenever I want. I know....I'm weird.

AAAHHHH! Is the X-Factor that Steef special that we heard about a little while ago???

If so, OMG! So cool! I can't believe how lucky I am to live in Australia at this present moment! (*will want to live in Japan in like 5 secs*)

AAAHHH! YEY!

It was on tonight, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. :) Even though I had seen the online rip of it ... I had never got around to watching the whole show, so overall it was very interesting.

But more importantly, I was able to watch it on a lot larger screen and better quality than on the net. I don't know about everyone else, but the net version I found kind of blurry when you enlarged it. It was simply amazing to see all the CG and concept art properly this time around. I was able to pay attention to a lot of little details that I had previously overlooked.

I also recorded it with my VCR, so now I can go back and look at it properly whenever I like. :)

i'm thinking of making a dvd copy of it, so i can pause it high definition.

Yeah I taped it that night it aired so I could watch it again. (I was watching while I was cleaning up my room and cleaning out a bunch of stuff, so I couldnt really focus on what was going on). So I took the tape and watched a few things over again to just hear the stuff, because I had watched the video sequences and stuff the first time around.

does anyone know when its going to be on UK cable telly or more importantly terrestial telly (non cable) in the UK?

Sekto Springs 11-25-2003 11:57 PM

well i think DC only comes with cable or satelite or whatever.
and noone knows for sure if and when it airs in the UK. But i'd say that even if it does air, you're going to need cable (i'm being redundant). possibly one of the forumers could make you a copy of it if they recorded it.
