are u perfect?

are u perfect?

Fez 09-28-2003 06:52 AM

what kind of stupid arse question is this? no ones perfect!

Wil 09-28-2003 08:22 AM

Or perhaps the question should be "Do you consider yourself perfect?" to which I would reply, "No, I don't even tan."

oddguy 09-28-2003 10:56 AM

Anyone who says they're perfect obviously isn't. A perfect person wouldn't boast as being so, and would never consider themselves better than anyone else.

I was thinking of closing this, but I guess I'll just see how it goes.

And no, I don't think I'm perfect. Far from it. I think it's impossible for anyone to be perfect. Some people may have their idea of a "perfect person" or "perfect partner" ... but in a more general sense, it's impossible. Someone that might have a perfect body or looks may lack in the intelligence department for example.

Although Sephy would be perfect if he were real. :D

Abe Babe...

Actually, if you find someone who's very near perfect, you have to think, Is it too good to be true?

But what if they didn't? It's one of the those "in theory, but not in practice" things. Exactly what would the perfect person be, though, if such a thing could exist. He's surely have to be a Lefty to the extreme of barely letting other people know his beliefs for fear of interfering with their own ideas.

Or possibly not.

Majic 09-28-2003 04:04 PM

I'm the most perfect person ever. No seriously, I am. Stop laughing!

Al the Vykker 09-28-2003 04:28 PM

No one is perfect, and everyone is perfect. It all depends on how you look at life, one could easily say human beings as a whole are perfect. Or one could say this world is just a sespool of lost hope and shattered dreams.

I may have gone a little far there, but it will all come down to how do you yourself define "Being Perfect".

Xavier 09-28-2003 04:33 PM

I'm glad with my life... that's the most important to me

oddguy 09-28-2003 07:24 PM

I guess perfect would be defined as what your opinion of perfect really is. A certain person could be seen as perfect by someone, and not perfect by someone else. It's all based on our perception.

Perfect? What is perfect? Perfect is boreing. Some of the most greatest things our world has invented came from imperfectness. Because being imperfect you tend to think out of the box and become creative. You tend to not go by the book and do it your own way. The result is something new. With my art I never go by the book and I follow my own methods which is imperfect. The one thing I hate is when rich people and I am talking about snobs say "I am perfect!"

Nobody in this world is perfect. That way of thinking is very unwise and won't get you anywhere.

Perfection is impossible.

...I cant think of anything... so... RAWR!

I agree with you PA. I like thining out of the box and doing new stuff, like OW. I'm getting tired of the same stock characters in different situations. Have you seen commercials for the new show called "Skin." It's going to be on Fox. It's pretty much a modern version of Romeo and Juliet. I looked at the preview and was like, "Can't we think of any new ideas instead of just redoing old ones?!" I'm going to start a Movie/TV/Music/Book/VideoGame company with new ideas that have never been seen before. It's my dream.

Same thing goes with Reality T.V. Shows, everything is all rehash now a days. OMG survivor! Are they going to survive?

oddguy 09-29-2003 01:08 AM

Reality TV makes me sick! Some guy comes up with an okay idea then everybody else has to copy it in different ways until it's dead. Honestly! I can't wait until I'm out in the entertainment industry and and I blow everyone away with an actual idea!:D

Yeah Ive seen that and I know what you mean. Even films are like that nowadays. Its companys like OWI, ILM, which give us the originality in thinking out of the box.

All these places started out as one man with a dream and ambition and a rather sloppy approach. ILM in its beginnings was so disorganised but look what came out of it. They practically invented new forms of art in film makeing that practically all film companies base them selves by, then OWI I mean need I say more. There is a silent achiever right there. I mean something in the nature of Oddworld definatly involved thinking out of the box with disorganisation in the sence of conceptualiseing ideas.

You will notice how these places are sloppy but organised in the sense of thinking out of the box. Where its imperfect. If it was perfect then these things would be dull. Thinking out of the box and being sloppy or messy or disorganised go together successfully. Thats where everything original comes from. Basically it allows you to be loose and open to possabilities. Like "what if" My Graphic design drawing instructer is like this. He is always saying to me be loose and always rely on "what if?" Because in film and art and design being loose and relying on the "What ifs" is what you need to be original. Its all building your idea on "What ifs." OWI did that I am sure. They come up with this cool idea for a game and then all of a sudden Lanning is like "What if?" You see how that works? before you know it you have something.

Thats imperfect and thinking out of the box.

Your all perfect, everyone is. I wasn't going to reply to this topic, I thought it was trash (no offence intended) i thought it was very evil and bad. It's spam (well i think so) and i think it will spark up a proper convo, when i can't be bothered to read long posts (but i did answer that delightful poll, lol, a good way to keep me occupied. Give me some polls or quizzes and i HAVE to do them! :D)
Reality T.v sucks. Its all the same, but they are higly addictive. So I like them ^_^, but on the query of films (going off topic) films are becoming extremely bad. Like cinderella 2! Oh please, my 3 year old neighbour dosn't even like it! Oh well i must be off before i get a warning.
But I don't think that any one can critisize another human being, because everyone is perfect. So go eat pie.....[EQUALITY RULEZ]

Nobody is perfect.... I'm a Nobody...
