Another AO problem
I got into one of the secret areas that you enter via a trap door (where the anti-possessing orb is and a switch on a top platform to open the trap door). This is the secret area which has shadowy areas in and a boomer grenade thingy(!). I managed to kill the sligs and get the other mudokons out, but I can't get Abe out of this secret area... I've tried getting him to jump out of where he came from and tried getting him to jump on the orb etc. but can't seem to find a way out. Help! Thank you so so so so much.

Is there another Bird Portal? If so, chant and enter. Or is there falling debris? Stand under it and hoist. That should do the trick.

if there isnt debris, then maybe the secret aint done yet
just search for levers ... stuff like that |
From the screen with the BOOM machine in, you need to hoist up to the screen above, and there'll be a bird portal there that Abe can go through. You can either use a grenade to destroy the orb first, or just chant and get zapped. If you're holding any grenades at the time, though, you'd better run quickly...

Thanks for your help guys. I don't know how to kill the orb because it's floating on the left side of the screen, and I tried bombing it from everywhere! I also tried going through the bird portal, but abe just walks through it without going anywhere, even while the chant is in place by the orb's disruption. I can't see any falling debris. Do I have to use a certain bird portal? I can't seem to hoist up from the boom machine either, tried every bit of the platform. Why isn't it working??!! HELP ME MORE PLS!!! Much appreciated. thanks.

How about a screen code? Pause the game, there'll be a code. If you can tell me that, I'll know exactly where you are.

Sorry Max, the section I am in is Rupture Farms 16, I think it's the screen just before the flying meat cutter throwing the meats about... where the secret area is under the trap door. There was a slig patrolling there with an orb, and a lever on a high platform. Hope you know which one I'm talking about. I'm still on the first level of the game. (Driving me nuts!)

no disrespect, i'm just trowing this out there, did you jump throught the portal? or just walk past it? also, i'm not sure which section ur in, but there can be levers hidden in shadows too

I managed to get out of the portal, didn't know it had to be so exact! Quite a difficult game, thanks for all your help though. Plodding onto the Stockyard....:fuzconf: :fuzemb: :fuzconf:
