As some of you may know, I'm running for a position as moderator in OWH. Well, here you guys can ask me questions about where I stand on the issues and such. And you can also get information on how to get the "Vote for Oddguy" banner to place in your sig.

I already know who I'm voting for, but I'm not disclosing it. For the sake of not being called a 'favouritiser'.

I love the extra 'vote for whoever' people have in their signatures. Reminds me of an election in real life. Very amusing, to. Just so we get it correct, who was it that placed the first 'vote for whoever' in their signature?

I think it was Max, but I'm not totally sure.

Alpha Scarab has been here for ages and help out in OWH loads of times, if you look at his custom title, that is another reason i would vote and nominate him.

PS. Just expressing my opionion and btw i have not against you, you would prolly be my second choice if 2 mods were in OWH.

I'm pretty sure it was me, as well.

Don't know who to vote for the OWH Forum yet. I'll just have to keep tuned in to the campaigns.

I understand. I haven't been here very long and I don't expect everyone to vote for me. I just want you guys to know that if I do get the job, I'll do my best to make sure everyone is happy. And I'm on OWF everyday, so I'll allways be availible for help.

Well, youve got my vote Oddguy, you just seem like the right person for the job. Your here a lot, and are really friendly, and like to help people out, plus being very experienced in the games helps also. And it would be great to have you on the staff too.:fuzsmile:

Actually, I think I'll maybe vote for AlphaScrab, seeing as hes been pretty excited about it since forever, and it must be a bit crushing to see all these people saying they'll vote for Oddguy:). Though, even if you don't win, you should definately get a custom title at least Oddguy. You deserve it.

Damn, you just reminded me of that. This is a bit of a pickle, alpha has been looking foreward and deserves this as much as oddguy also.Perhaps I may not vote on this particular mod selection and let other people decide.

But I would have to agree, whoever is second, should probably get a custom title.

If AlphaScrab has been waiting to be OWH mod forever, then by all means, vote for him. I wouldn't want to take away something he's wanted for a long time when I've only been here for a short while. I wouldn't mind second.....it's better than nothing.:fuzwink:

I personally feel that publicly announcing who you are voting is going to start resentment towards people. Even if the resentment isn't shown on the forums.

That's why I remain impartial to members on the forums. But like I may have mentioned, Abe Babe and I get to vote this time :fuzvamp:

The voting commences in a little less than a week and a half. It will be held via Private Messaging as well.

Whoa whoa whoa guys, though I'd like to be OWH mod, I think every-1 that is running for modship deserves an honest election. So don't vote for me, just because I have been around for a longer time, though you think some-1 else should have the job.

What I mean is, just vote for the one you wanna vote for, that is what democracy is all about.

[EDIT] By the way Alcar, can't you and AbeBabe make a poll marked "Important" or something??? That's an easy way to vote. And, of course, the nominees aren't allowed to vote on themselves

We could, but the way we did it last time worked just fine. Besides, having a public poll would inspire people to vote for the under-dog instead of who they would normally vote for.

As you said yourself, it should be the most deserving that recieves the position :fuzsmile:

*Thinks hard* I really don't know what I was thinking about puttingmyself for OWH I won't win and I'll be a really crap MOD (if I had won althought I doubt it) I vote for you. Can I also say I widthdraw myself from the OWH running Vote Oddguy!

I'm so confused! I like AlphaScrab and Oddguy! :crying: You're both perfect for the job! But oddguy is my friend, so he has my vote.

I'll be basing my votes on how I think the person will cope with being a Moderator. I don't think people should vote for friends, as sometimes friends aren't the best person to do something.

Don't let people bully you into either. Although I don't know if it were happening, it could. You know, the whole "I won't be your friend anymore if you don't" stuff, which is incredibly childish.

None of that happening here. I'd like people to vote for me, but I don't force it upon anyone. I wouldn't be a true friend if I said that friendship with me would be out the window if somebody didn't vote for me. I want my friends to vote for who they think should be OWH mod......and if it's not me, then that's okay. I'll then know that the person meant be OWH was picked.
