Topic and Reply icons

I noticed on the industrial template of the forum, you had mines for TOPIC and REPLY icons. Wouldn't it complement the Natural template for the forum if their TOPIC and REPLY icons were Spooceshrubs? (Or have you already done that?)

The Native style has Spirit Locks instead of the Mines found in the Industrial style :)

But SpiritLocks are industrial...

Alcar 08-21-2003 12:12 PM

Dammit, you are correct...

Lets go with the logic that Spirit Locks, look native... Yeah...

Good one (!)

At least you have them open... at least while the tread is.
A bush would make more scence, or maybe one of those stones with the hole in the middle

You know I never really realized that until now. LOL Good pickup Lulu_Fund. :)

At the time that layout was created, I was looking for something that went with the Abe's Oddysee/Exoddus period. So seeing the Spiritlocks (or Flintlocks) are found in the native areas in Abe's Exoddus, they seemed to work. Locked for closed topics, and open for active topics ... so the spirits are free.

Abe Babe...

Sorry, I didn't really phrase my suggestion well, but I think Abe Babe understood.

What I meant was, as the Industrial forum has mines for Topic and Reply icon, the Natural forum would look good along it if the Natural Forum itself had spooce shrubs for Topic and Reply icon.

I just realised it when I saw the icons in the Natural forum, I unconsciously assumed there were spooce shrubs there and realised there weren't.

I see now why spirit locks were used instead (thanks Abe Babe).
