Sherry McKenna Interview
I posted this one on Oddworld-Web yesterday, but looks like no one else has found it. An interview w/ Sherry by a female gamers site. I found this interview a refreshing change and I enjoyed the different slant that it had to it.
http://www.angelfire.com/mo/dawnlynette/mckenna.html *gasps as she never usually finds news first now days* Although thanks to a "friend" for pointing me in the direction of this one. :) Abe Babe... |
I found it on your site, yesterday, but didn't report it here because a) it was your news, and b) I didn't think about it. Dig those great shoes, though.

Not to be overly critical or offensive to anyone but I thought that interview kind of sucked. I thought her questions were extremely typical feminist questions that got shut down fairly swiftly from sherry. I don't know who this reporter is but I think I would probably fire her. she did not ask one interesting question and 90 percent of them were near idiotic. Sorry.

Sherry McKenna free a video games
....extremely typical feminist questions ?!
Do you read this ? http://www.igda.org/committees/women.php You must face up to reality about the video game industry around.... Sherry McKenna free a video games . atusiya's father... |
hmmm, it's kinda true that there is nothing intresting...
oh yeah, the shoes are quite intresting :fuzwink: |
I notice that all males (other than Atusiya's Father) did not like the interview. I guess that shows how different guys can view things to girls.
Anyway, you guys only say it's uninteresting because there is no new information! LOL The site is a small ameteur gaming site run by a girl who is interested in showing games from a female perspective, seeing how the video game industry is mostly male dominated. I would think that Sherry had an interest in answering the questions and not avoiding them, otherwise she would have declined the interview seeing she is very busy woman. Abe Babe... |
Only old and not so tasty said he didn't like it. I think it's great that such a movement exists, although I guess being a guy I can't say I'm intrigued by it. But it doesn't contain new info, and that's the boring bit, you're right there. :p
|
what?
I hope you aren't saying that McKenna's shoes aren't intresting! This is the biggest piece of info ever! Or not? well uhm... nevermind :p |
Not a bad interview for those that are interested in women moving on up in the world. I just thought it was rather short, had no new info and all the Q's were all about feminist values and such. Girl power has been around for a while and women have the respect they deserve, so I say get over it ladies-acting like they're tortured and they have to work extra hard to make it in the world. Girls are just as good as guys. In fact, some things are easier for women. Where I live(America), car insurance costs less for women than it does men. Why? It's a known fact that guys are dangerous and women tend to be more careful with their vehicles. To conclude, Women and Men have equal opportunities and both have the ability to do whatever they want in life. That's how I feel about feminists and stuff.
