Nothing new for August!
 

All I got to say I was getting exciteing for maybe just a few new stuff about Steef on the official site for this month but Noooo! We get nothing not even Raison Rants. What is up with that? I am getting very impatient here I think I am going to eat a sandwich.

I was going to post a topic, but I had to go out and do something. Anyways, Im not suprised.

Steef seems to be interesting, but without any new information my appetite for the game is not getting any bigger. Maybe they will suprise us with a return to development of ME, that would be a greater shocker, and still very welcome.

That would be cool, but isn't it officially confirmed by OWI themselves that ME is not the next game?

Yea but I was hopeing for something of a review for August or something. I guess we are back in the dark again!

You never know they might surprise us with something in mid-August. Mabe a few new screens of something?

No, we never know, that's what so annoying about it. We're just utterly left in the dark, no clue on even when or if we're going to get anything new. Mid-August would be fine with me, but I'd have preferred June or something. It's been, what, 11 months since the X-Factor footage? They say they won't tell us anything until it's concrete, well then OWI're certainly being indecisive.

Look at it this way, if we get steef stuff now, there will be months when we wont get anything. So if they don't share anything with us now, it will just get to the point where they will keep updating the site about every two weeks or so. Now that would be better than once a month. Do you guys aggree.

Well, even if they didnt give us a lot of screen shots, they could put up a teaser shot to keep our appetites going, or something we havent seen to start some more discussions like we had after the X factor.

I agree with Al here a teaser would be great. What I think they should do is bring back the Daly Deception or Raison Rants to get us solveing clues about Steef. Heck why not give us a title? If its not going to be an oddessy then what is the tite? I don't see any harm in the title in spilling information out other than the stuff we already got. A title would too be welcome. Speaking of which, what do you think the title will be called if its not going to be oddessy which most of you claim?

The thing I don't understand is why wouldn't it be called oddessy even if its not part of the quintology? Why can't it still be called Steef's Oddessy?

I do to wish they would release more information on Steef. A little teaser of the up to date works of Steef would be exceptional.

I'm thinking that Lorne hasn't really settled down with a basic story yet. When i was planning my fics, i changed the story's numerous times before i settled with them...he may be doing that.

Nah i dont think thats it, i reckon they have got the basic story, but they are just changing details here and there.

But i am annoyed bout there being no real updates, bring back raisins rants!! even fan of the month would have give me something to read.

Who knows, maybe we're all just being asses and there's some hidden secret clue thingy we're supposed to find on our own.

Was this a clue to the X-Factor (you know, X-Tractor=X-Factor, 2K3=2003, so X-Factor 2003) that we overlooked? Or am I just being weird?

Whoa, I think that's most definitely a little clue, but maybe it's just a really great coincidence. It would have been made after September, which is apparently when X-Factor was at OWI Studios.

Bah, reading that brings back baaaad reinders of OWI-fan relations, right now, and to Alf's attitudes to answering questions. He answered things supremely in March, why can't he be like that more often?

Well, it's a little late for theories on the X-factor special, since it already happened.

And if they posted new stuff NOW, it would probably be the only thing in a while. Then they'd come a-knockin' over here to take a look at how we reacted to that one thing. And we'll be here whining about it because we don't have anything else to chew on. It's just better to wait until we're closer to "Steef's Whatever*", then we won't be as anxious for more stuff because we'd be closer than we would be if they gave us info NOW!

(GASP!) Whew, all that in one breath.

(* I have a hard time believing that OW4 will be called "Steef's Oddysee".)

Actually, I doubt it will have Steef's name in it at all. I dunno why, it just seems like it won't since they're trying something new and all.

I doubt "Steef" will be in the name of the game indeed... it sounds too quintology :fuzwink:

Mabye it can be "The thing who thinks he's Clint". Mabye next month we'll have something new? I dunno. Hopefully.

On a serious note why can't it be called Oddessy? It is concurrent with the quintology.

They just need something really original, I could care less if it was even Steefs big adventure. :p On a serious note I just want a new kind of title for Steef. Save Oddysee, exoddus, for the actual quintology games such as Sqeek, and the others.

it's like they're torturing us so we will buy it as soon as it comes out. HOW MEAN! :rant:
