Spawning on Oddworld!

Have you guys ever played the game Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo? Well there is this creature that is called a Spore Spawn. It is like a giant plant that resembles a ball and chain. It opens up and realeases hundreds of spores to grow. Could there be something like that on Oddworld? But grows a spiecies like Mudokins, Glukkens, Sligs, Gabbits, Vykkers, Interns etc. That would be odd to see a spiecies emerge from spores. Plus it would be very different from the idea of the queens and eggs. A spiecies emerging in the world like a plant would be intresting to see. At first they would look like a pod or seed but then as they grow they start to look more like an Oddworld type being. I think that would be a cool idea to use. It would add a twist to the insect idea Lanning is useing for his story. He should use the idea on how plants reproduce themselves, but as an Oddworld spicies of coarse. Hey it's new and it is a bold idea. Gosh I wish I was working for Lanning right now! Just goes to show you how limitless your mind can go. Oddworld is a perfect example.

Yeah, and maybe they could change Abe into Samus, the glukkons into Ridley, sligs into metroids, and then Maggie could be Mother Brain! And Skyllia would be Kraid, I guess.

It's just a thought of something new that is all.

That actually could be an interesting idea for the lower species in which reprodustion has not been established. Maybe for the next Oddworld games (ME, maybe) the slogs could come from spores. I could think of a lot of fun (well, maybe not FUN...) puzzles you could use that with.
Just another though i had.

I made up a species called the Klarms that grow from spores. There's a description in the "Great Forest Descriptions" topic in Fan Corner, if anyone's interested...
