Since agnostic is questions about believing in your faith, athiest is actually denying there is an existence of God. To be an agnostic, you have to believe in a religion, but not totally sure about it. |
I'm defanitly Christain I go to church every Sunday.I went to bible church for arts and crafts and next year I'm doing soccer camp.Jusus Is the true king a the world.Read the bible.

Can you guess who the leader is? Alcar... |
I am a Catholic. I truely believe in my faith I was born in the Catholic church and baptised as a Catholic. Catholisism is rather interesting you have the really old cathedrals and churches with amazeing art in the stain glass windows and on the walls and cielings. The Sisteen chapel in Rome is a perfect example of such beauty in art depicting God and heven and hell and earth. You drink wine and you recive holy communion and mass is only an hour long.
I think just for once I am going to visit the Vatican in Rome and just see it for myself. I love going into real old cathedrals just to look around at all the unique arcetecture and art. I did visit and toured a rather amazeing church one time. It was actually a church inside of a church. It was a Masque on the outside and in the center was a huge cathedral. That was amazeing it reminded me of Highlander. The Masque part of this reminded me of that underground city of the dwarfs in Lord of the Rings. You know those catacombs with the pillers. Well it was just like that It had vast pillers and the whole place was real dark and shadowy and rather cold inside. In the center was the cathedral and when you got to the center everything just went in upward fashion. It was cool. |
Church of Satan...
anyway that's the closest edit: it isn't a religion, it's a philosophy |

I'm christian.
Wait, I thought atheism was not a religion, just a belief? here's the dictionary's definition of agnostic: a. One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God. b. One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism. One who is doubtful or noncommittal about something. Also, some one said something about what about catholic, protestant, and baptist? They kinda follow the same category as christianity, and then they kinda don't. So I guess it's best to put them in the other choice... |
Look all of you complainy people, I posted alternative beliefs as well as religions for more variety.
Let me clarify me beliefs while I'm at it. I was baptised and raised catholic until I was about 9 years old. I don't think anyone in my family actually believed in the faith, we were just going because it was "socially required" for us to do so. Eventually we stopped going to church all together, and I really didn't mind. Then there was a long lull where I was agnostic... but I've recently taken interest in faith again. I claim no christian denomination; I'm non-practicing (I don't go to church). This is my choice not to do so, as I've never liked the idea of church. I believe preachers and priests are just an easy way out. Some people tend to take their word as infallible, which it isn't... they're only expressing opinions on what the think about the Bible. I study on my own and form my own opinions. (I wonder if there's a big, fancy word for that.) |
Im a roman catholic (another branch off of Christian, and catholic).
I usually go to church every other week, but lately its only been every month. Yes, I am dedicated to my faith, and believe in god and Jesus, etc. But I also am not as strict as some in my religion, I have several interpretations on different beliefs and subjects in my religion. Plus I also am open minded on other people's beliefs, and also respect what they believe too. |

I'm Catholic...being Baptised and everything. But i do Witchcraft...although i am not in the religion. But i also am Agnostic...
|
Actually you don't have to believe in anything to be agnostic. An agnostic admits the possibility of a religion being true but is skeptical about it. That would clearly fall under not being religious.
|
Isn't that basically what Max said...?
|
My bad. I was replying to Joshy. Next time I'll read all the replys before doing so myself.
|
who is the other one who choosed the Church of Satan?
I'm simply a bit curious |
:
Catholics baptize children. Christians don't, we baptize people who are old enough to understand who Christ is. Catholics have statues and worship the Virgin Mary. We don't worship the Virgin Mary. Catholics have a purgatory and confess their sins to the pope. Christians confess their sins through prayer. Some denominatins do lenting. (which is 40 weekdays from Ash Wednesday until Easter as a season of fasting and penitence in preparation for Easter). You see what I'm saying? Not trying to start any arguments or anything. |
Yeah, I know how the denominations' traditions, beliefs and values differ from one another. I've never heard of a non-denominational church, though. Do you know how it came about?

nondenominational is kind of a hodgepodge of different christian beliefs. They are the least judging kind.
