I might be doing a series of serious paintings of Abe, Munch, and other Oddworld stuff (like big canvas stuff!). I'm just starting off with getting back into the practice of drawing again (!), I thought I could share a little humble sketch of Abe to my fellow Oddworldians. :fuzwink: Sorry about the pic, not exactly close-up or easy to see.

Wow, from what I can see, that's some great stuff, LuLu.

Did you use charcoal? If so, I envy you, for I never got the hang of charcoal. Well, that and my ears are freakishly sensitive to certain noises... and charcoal on paper just happens to be one of those. A scrubber scraping on a pan is another one. OK, I'm rambling now.

Cheers SeaRex... I actually used a ball-point pen because I didn't have a pencil on me! I know what you mean about charcoal though.... difficult not to smudge too! I got the hang of it 'course cos I'm an Art/Music student plus I did evening classes, so that helped. I'm rambling too....

Have you done some artwork (odd-related or not)?-

I've got two topics in Non-Odd Art of characters I've done in pen. I can't stand to look at them anymore, though. I'll probably end up breaking the links to a few of them.

EDIT: Scratch that. It seems those topics have moved on to Nekrum. Or disappeared. Whatever.

Darn, was looking forward to some pics.... might have a look around next time.

I used the Abe's Exoddus cover on PS1.. half his head was chopped off so I kinda made his head up! Probably should have shown more feathers.... ooh well...

Update: I'm currently doing a colour pencil drawing of Munch, using the xbox cover, will show you when I've done it.
