Do you believe that Soda companies are actually ruining the name for a brand soda? For example:

Sprite has Sprite remix. Do you believe they should leave it alone or allow change to take it's place? What do you think?

...I don't really care about the soda names, I just drink it...

They changed Sprites name to Sprite Remix? If it doesn't taste any different or hasn't had the ingredients changed ('remixed') then that is pretty pointless.

I haven't tasted Sprite Remix, so I dunno. I have see 7up with a new thing called dnL(it's 7up, upside down). I hear it tastes exacly the same, but it has caffeine. What's the point I ask you!

I agree, what's the point in changing soda and slapping a new name on it, when it taste the same? It may have alittle difference but it bascially taste the same.

There's that Moutain Dew Red COde, then Orange Moutain Dew. They all taste the same. They are just different colors.

Its all about money and profit mann. Like Oddworld only not sadistic:D Though I think those methods are really pointless. They are the same drink the only difference is the name and sometimes the color. Its all part of the sceam of business. They are trying to get you to buy their product And simply they don't want to risk on their costomers getting bored with the same old thing. So they create a new slogan and a new qoute on qoute drink when all along its the same. They are just trying get you to buy more.

The various Mountain Dews taste different, fool! And Sprite Remix has a distinctive taste from Sprite. You should learn to appreciate and identify soda, infidel. Heck, your probably one of those people who believes that Coke and Pepsi taste exactly the same! You will die a horrible and gruesome death someday, Pinky;)

Coke and Pepsi do taste the same...only when it goes flat, that's when the differences occur. I can see if you said Pepsi and moutain dew taste then same, then we'll talk. ;)

Yeah, they're ruining their name and acting dumb and trying be 'hip' and 'cool' by changing their name and color. They do this because stupid peeps see something like that new orange Mountain Dew and think "Oh, orange....." and are atracted to it like a bug zapper. It's all the stupid peoples fault!!

Either you don't understand that orange has a distinctive flavor from lemon-lime, or you are extremely abnormaly angressive against highly caffinated orange soft drinks. Either one is bad:p

If you taste Red Code and Orange Moutain Dew, it taste like Moutain Dew regular but they added orange flavor and Red Code flavor. It taste different, but then it taste like Moutain Dew just a bit. It has to, because it's Moutain Dew! That's what it's suppose to taste like. It's red Mountain Dewey and Orange Moutain Dewey. I guess they just took regular Moutain Dew and just added orange flavored and the two flavors are mixed and you can taste both. Get it Sherlock?:D

With Mountain Dew Orange they say, "Only out for summer of 2003!" That just makes people think, "I have to buy it because it won't be out forever, and it's new and hip...I can't live without it...Must buy more!!!" :rant:

And I just saw something for the Pepsi Billion Giveway, and the odds of winning are so low...but everyone thinks, "I have a chance to win...must buy!" It's such a conspiracy! Oh...and the Billion is paid over a period of 40 years, with payments each year. So, it's not like you could quit your job and retire if you won. And I have info on how they pic the winner...a monkey is going to pic out of the finalists. I'm not joking!
