Meech Munchies...

Does anybody remember when AO had first came out and there was a rumour about the sequel...I think Munch was supposedly going to be the last remaining Meech. Hence the name "Meech Munchies" Let me emphasise that some more Meech MUNCHies. I was jus' wondering if this was true and if Munch was intended to be a Meech. If it isn't...ok. So could sum peeps shed some light onto this...thanx.

Yes!! I got here first!

Latamire Munch has always been a Gabbit, although his design obviously wasn't the same from his first incarnation as one of Lorne's personal stories.

A lot of people did seem to associate these two things, but there is no real connection.

I noticed you used the term 'peeps'. This originally came from Theme Park as a semi-insult to the guests... just informing.

Yea, thats what I immediately thought when I heard about Munch's Oddysee, I was sure he was going to be a Meech untill I saw the first image of Munch.

But i defiantly read somewhere that Munch was going to be a Meech! And that explained the whole "Meech Munchies" thing. I kn0 my facts i aint stupid...alth0 i have alot of Brain cells wich r destroyed thr0 drinking and that cud effect my judgement and memory...wot where we talking about again?

Well a meech was actually a fierce beast, like a scrab, likes to protect it's territory. I don't think abe would be friends with a scrab, which has an equal personality to a meech. A meech would eat abes brains out as soon as it saw him.

Yes...well wen AO was 1st out we knew nowt about the Meech's did we? We dint know what they looked like or anything like that. So its very likely that Munch could of been a Meech at first (A Meech with a different body structure though) Then they changed him to a Gabbit. Maybe cos they though the actual designs for Munch acted more like a Rabbit...i dunno, i am jus' sure Munch was a Meech to start off with. ALF IF YOUR THERE CAN U SAY IF THIS IS TRUE!?

Here's some interesting info:

Some times, during Mudokon labor hours, a slig will decide to go to the vending machine and eat a Scrab Cake. When they finally open up the incredibly thick wrapper, which takes about half a hour, it's time to go back on patrol. A mudokon may find the Scrab Cake, and being incredibly hungry, will suck all the filling out of it and fill the hole with their own saliva.

That's brilliant, Bud. How'd you know that?

Ronixis 08-14-2001 07:50 PM

It's a VERY well-written strategy guide that's really funny. I got it at Babbage's in my local mall. When I find it, I'll post the company that made it. If you see it, ick it up.

That was a very strange piece of info ronixis. Give Me MORE!!!!

Ronixis 08-16-2001 05:41 PM

Alright, upon reading the Strategy Guide again I offer you this information.

Elums are not used for food by glukkons because their skin is insanely tough. The Magog Cartel gave a rusty nail to a mudokon slave and told him to make a dent in an Elum's skin. After four years, the Mudokon made a slightly visible red mark that the Elum did not notice. This was a medical breakthrough. The mudokon was shipped to the Soulstorm Brewery for tear extraction and the Elum was taken to Vykkers Labs for further inspection. The Vykkers probed the Elum and revealed that an Elum is all bone and no meat. All Necrumian Elums were recently moved to a hunting preserve.

Once again, I added some creative license to it, but...
