do you have bothersom friends or siblings who get on the forums and mess up all your stuff?

I had a very tragic case of my brother getting onto my account once. He spammed all over saying Oddworld sucks and stuff like that, and made a large annoying but funny picture graph thingy. Then he made it as the sig, so it showed up everywhere. Meanwhilst, I could only stare in horror as he rampaged.

its not that i tell him my password its that like when i use the bathroom and leave it on, he gets on and posts stuff like im gay and screws up everything. This mostly happens when i play xbox and he gets on when i tell him not to do anything stupid.But no he always gets on and messes me up...

Just logout when you're not at the forums, and if you have your computer set to remember your password and put it in when you put your cursor in the password box, look for a way to turn that off. You may also want to change your password every now and then. :fuzsmile:

Will, as Gryph said simply logout, and change your password. Why am I repeating this? Because I also have an explanation as to why he can't get back on:
Internet explorer will, if you have the option turned on, save information typed into input fields. This, however doesn't work on fields marked as password fields. And by making the forums a favourite won't change a thing either, favourites have no affect what so ever on cookies. Cookies are what control your log in, unless you use the slower (and much worse) method of session hashing. Either way, if you change your password frequently and logout then they haven't got anyway to get in. Oh, and make sure your friend doesn't see you type in or tell him it. Well, actually they could... But that's a bug that only I know on here :D If the above don't work, simply threaten the guy, then punish him. Alcar... |

Something like this has never happened on the forums before... but something much worse happened while I was signed in for MSN messanger. Something much worse.... And it happened a couple of times. It's not one of those things I can control... I can't control my sister...:fuzmad:
