Oh curses! I'm always looking for Oddworld stuff like this, and whenever I look, there's only ever games that come up under the Oddworld search. I've wanted to get these for so long, but I'd been a little slack in doing Oddworld searches lately (been very busy the past couple of weeks). It's my own fault I guess.

Although you're probably glad that I didn't see these earlier, I probably would have outbid you. I'm known for paying high prices for Oddworld promo stuff ... like a promo E3 booklet I paid $70 for once.

Abe Babe...

Although we're all glad you did, especially since you shared it with us all. Just imagine, if we'd have all put in a collective bid with whatever we could spare so we could all get a look, that value would be high in excess of $70.

I used to go about voting for Oddworld stuff on Ebay, and then I actually won something, an Abe's Exoddus poster which I have never seen before or since. It was a ridiculous price to pay, although I can't remember what, and there was so much hastle because 'surfbags' (who I think regularly sells Oddworld stuff there) lives in America and it would have cost us a lot more money to send him a cheque. Anyway, after that I only ever bid for OW stuff in the UK, and won 2 things, an AO Prima Guide and a Get Freaky single. I paid for both and never got them, so I gave up. I might start trying again, though.

Well that sucks Max, did you ever try e-mailing the sellers and asking what happened or e-mailing the one's who run the bidding site and tell them, in which case they would normally do something about it.

I can't find it :fuzconf:
can someone please give me the link ?

Wil 06-21-2003 05:19 PM

I'm sure I did try that, but it was after over 30 of waiting, and it didn't keep a record of what you've won after that amount of time. Hence I don't know exactly who should have sent me them. I do have 3 addresses from people I've encountered at eBay, so my best guess would be that it was Paul Kempe and Rob Davidson who failed to deliver. It only cost like £3 in total for both of them, but the fact that I didn't get my Oddworld merchandise just sucks.

I had a look at eBay, Xavier, but I couldn't find the cutouts. I assume they've finished already. However, I did find the official development demo test disk which is highly rare, and possibly not compatable with regular Xboxi. Bidding starts at $50, and it's $10 for overseas shipping. Needless to say I'm not bidding on this. However, on the disk it says confidential, so that rule's already been broken. The other rule is 'do not copy', so if someone were to win it and do some...burning... *slips hand into wallet*

I won the abe cutout. The bigbro slig wasn't won by anyone and will probably be put back up eventually. By the way I won it for 10 dollars. Thanks for not showing up abe babe
