The "What kind of mudokon slave are you?" quiz.
This is just a simple quiz. Imagine you are a mudokon slave, not raised in captivity, but captured and dragged miles away from home, taken out of your country, maybe even your continent. Answer the questions to find out what sort of slave you'de be. (Remember, the kidnappers are glukkons with vykker and slig backup.)
1. If you were kidnapped and taken far from your home would you... a. Try to escape no matter what the cost? b. Wait for help to come? c. Make your escape if the oppertunity arised? 2. It becomes clear that your kidnappers are not going to return you to your home. Do you... a. Resign yourself to your fait? b. Make a do or die escape? c. It also becomes clear that if you do escape your kidnappers clutches that you will be escaping in to a dangerous foreign land from which you can not return home. Do you... a. Escape in spite of the difficulties? b. Stay with the kidnappers because at least they feed you? c. Stay but cause as much disruption as possible without getting caught? 4. You are part of a large group of mudokons who have been kidnapped. Some of your group decides to escape. Do you... a. Refuse to join them but wish them good luck? b. Join them in the attempt? c. Tell the kidnappers about the plan so they will favour you more? 5. Most of the mudokon slaves are fighting the kidnappers which they outnumber (Keep in mind the kidnappers have sligs who have guns, while the mudokons only have weopons they have made from the materials around them). Do you... a. Stay on the kidnappers' side because you know that when they restore order they will punish those who fought? b. Keep out of the way and watch to see which side is winning before choosing whom to fight with? c. Take up arms against your kidnappers? hehe Xavier not all Belgians are idealists. I am an idealist I got a 10. Its very understandable with me being creative as I am. Being creative means you can be a real idealistic person or in this case a Mud:D

11 points: Idealist. This is a pretty fair assessment of what I'm like, as I will pitch in and try hard if need be, but I more often see loopholes and slip through the cracks. And in the end, it's the Idealists who will survive, 'cause the Freedom Nutters will be killed instantly, and the Self Protectors will, despite their apple-polishing ways, inevitably be killed by the very system they kissed up to. It takes both types of thinking to survive, in Oddworld and our own world.

When we did this in school in a class of about 30 (this is an edited version of one about black slavery in america) we had two nutters and everyone else was an idealist, including me.

Awesome thread, Splat! I'm an Idealist...13 points. I think it's better to wait and plan, rather than trying to escape all the time. If you try to escape all the time, you either die, or you're being watched extra closely. But, when the chance arises, I'm willing to take risks! It's like one of those escape movies. You always follow the story of an Idealist, who plans and plans, and then after huge risks, escapes with a few bruises, but he has his freedom! An escape movie never follows the life of a Freedom Nutter! The movie would be over in half an hour, and the guy would either be dead, or thrown back into prison to realize his fate. But it's harder for the Idealists to function without the Freedom Nutters. Both Idealists and Freedom Nutters need each other. Without the disstraction caused by FN, Idealists could have some problems escaping. But in the end we're talking about who stays alive. The FN die, so the Idealists can live. *A moment of silence*
