Hey guys what if Lorne Lanning Made a Oddworld game just like the SIMS that would rule! being Munch, Abe, Molluk, having slogs and sloggies as pets cool huh I'll make a RPG about that!:fuzsmile: :fuzwink:

I heard some people wanted an Mario Party-like Oddworld Game, with mini games and stuff, but that doesn't seem to be OWI style.

I doubt they will do that. Oddworld is good the way it is now. Its action adventure and a puzzle game all combined in one huge package. That seems to fit Oddworld the best. Granted your idea would be intresting but OWI will not do that. Pretty much Oddworld is great the way it is now dealing with its action adventure and puzzle style gaming and not to mention very intended film makeing. Thats what I see Oddworld being and most importantly not changeing that style. Comeon Oddworld like the Sims? It sounds different but OWI is pushing their games to the limits of what they can possibly do. A game like the Sims would be sort of going backwards in their style of gaming. OWI does pretty much invent their own signature gaming style. Thats what makes Oddworld original.:D

If there going to make a different style game, the only thing that would really work is an RPG. I actually hope OWI add more of an RPG feel to the games, It would be possible to add so much more depth. Besides, The Sims has been drawn out so long, it's no longer fun. Oddworld is about originality.

i dont think this topics worth closing...it's your idea/opinion and thats what yer supposed to post on this forum, but a SIM game wouldnt be oddworldish enough for oddworld fans, SIM fans maybe, but not for guys like us, though oddworld would probly draw more fans (mainly all SIM lovers) and make more money, it would be dirty money that would kinda shame oddworld's name.

I think Oddworld is meant too stay odd, not turn into everything else, like a sim game or mini game. Oddworld is unique and I hope it stays that way! Odd till dee end!

Please NO! The Sims is a lame excuse for a game and I don't understand why it is so popular. Oddworld doesn't need to sell out in that direction, and I doubt that they would anyway. It's not Oddworldish at all and is very un-original if they were to do that.

So NO!

It's probably a bunch of fat people with no live who buy sims, so they can get a new one! I like oddworld just the Way it is!

OK, Im just not into it. But i'm sure that at least 2/3 of the SIMS buyers have no life!
