Okay, this is starting to make my mind think.
Wht do most moderators always sign there name in the main text of a post? I thought that was what the signature is for?!

It's not as if they are telling you exactly who they are... you can see their name and pic (and title) at the side!

anyway they may if they want to, I mean, is there a problem with signing at the end of each post?

God! I have done that since I first started posting on message boards many years ago. Before I even was at OWF. I've always signed my name, and I've always used ... after it (3 dots because my favorite number is 3). I guess it's a formal part of me, like when you sign a letter, you sign your name.

So obviously, anyone else who does it here is copying me! Or maybe I just started a trend. ;)

You see, I thought that sighning was taken care of in the signature, not in the post itself. I'm not trying to say it's wrong, but I do want to know why you (the mod.s) sign twice

I guess when you think of it, the message boards I started out at didn't have cool features like signatures and avatars and stuff like that. They were basic ... text only, no ability to add images or anything like that. You didn't even have to join first to post, you'd just post away. In those days maybe lots of people just signed their names I think.

So on top of what I previously said, it just became habit, and one I'm not about to change.

I never really thought of the signatures as a place to sign your name though. I always thought of them like a footer to your post, where you can put cool banners and quotes.

I don't sign a "Death..." at the end of my name because I don't like the name I chose...

There is a name for those three dots, I think they call it an Ellipsis.

Anyway, I want the name Mystic Vykker, I was talking to some peoples at oddchat and they all agreed it was a cool name.

I'd take Death over Mystic Vykker anyday.

Just stay with Death.

You think? Unfortunately that doesn't make me feel any better about the name...
