I live in the good old USA in the State of Ohio in a suberb of Akron OH called Stow right outside of Kent OH which is famous for the Kent State Universty riots. It was when the National Guard back in 69 delebertatly shot and killed four students. There were thousands of Vietnam protesters that day too. So the Government sent out the National Guard who at the time were young kids who were nervious and shot into the crowd and killed 4 students. You ever hear that song with the lyrecs "4 dead in Ohio?" Well thats where it came from.
Ah suberbian life very boreing!:D

Right now it is a nice 70 degrees where I am at. I did plan on going to Kent State but I changed my mind and went to a school in Cleveland. Now I plan on after I graduate with an associates in illustraition I will be hopefully going to Pittsburgh for school.

So thats where I live.:D

I live in the United States of America also. The state of Illinois, where I have lived for the past 15 years since I was born here, in a little town called Mundelein(which I have also lived in my whole life). For reference, its about an hour and a half north of Chicago, so its near both Lake Michigan, Chicago, and the Wisconsin border.

Anyways its quite a small town, we rarely are ever mentioned anywhere. We were mentioned once on the national news, and on the Jay Leno show, for our town police bust of an underground narcotics smuggling operation through burger king.(Though thats probably the worst thing to happen in this town ever). The inside Joke was: "Fries with you COKE?"

When my mom and grandparents first moved here, it mainly consisted of a farming area. My mom, aunt, and uncle all attended the same middle school and high school that I am, and even had some of the same teachers. Although, now the town now has a very large residentual area, with some small businesses, fast food chains, and restuarants, and a population close to about 40,000. The really large malls, and big stores/businesses are mainly in surrounding towns, and in the other parts of the county.

Currently its about 60-70 degrees out. Plus I am finished with my first year of high school, its summer time. But the weather can get very strange around here. Once it was snowing in the middle of march, and april, and our winters can either be very cold, and snowy, or very moderate.

Now hopefully I wont ever have to go into this amount of detail again, and you have a bit of insight about where I live in this chaotic world. And if there was one town to survive a nuclear holocaust it would probably be Mundelein. Out here it just seems that we are completely detached from the rest of the world.

It's an Australian TV show, and everyone that had replied by then was Austrailian. That's what it has to do with this.

I did not say hate. And how do you know I am ignorant? We have hardly held a conversation where I could prove myself being so, have we?

Sometime I would like to go a week without pissing someone off.

Your statement was ignorant because you said you dislike a country and its people, when you probably haven't even been there or stayed long. I don't like it when people state generalized opinions on entire cultures, communities, people, etc. when they haven't had enough experience to make a fair judgement. You have to realize that millions of people live in the US. A large percentage of those people came from different countries (many from yours). The diversity is too large to be generalized.

Facsimile 06-18-2003 03:21 AM

**** my hands are cold.

:

you said you dislike a country and its people,
I never said people. Although I probably should have. It's not like I have anything against your land, houses and towns, more that horrible way of thinking many of you have.

I honestly don't want to go any further with this as I can't explain it to most people.

I understand that a lot of Americans are narrow-minded and unaware of other cultures, but a lot of us are not. I could generalize that people who live in the Middle East are terrorists, but that is just an aweful stereotype that sadly some people actually believe. Stereotyping is not a good thing.
