Dipstikk 06-14-2003 03:33 AM

Sekto Springs 06-14-2003 03:37 AM

LOL! yes! it's funny, but ya know elums love honey....so it's unbeleivably possible....

Dipstikk 06-14-2003 04:01 AM

I certainly wouldn't be suprized if that's where Abe found HIS Elum.

"Oww! Help! My head is stuck, and it keeps-OW-getting-Yowch-OW MY SKIN's BLISTERING!"

I have no idea what you are talking about. But then again I dont know much anything about elums....

Well there were alot of Inhabitants that weren't included in MO due to plot changes, deadlines, etc. But Im sure we'll see the Elum soon enough. As for what I know on Elums (Elum is "mule" spelt backwards..as most of you know.....yes) , all I can say is that they're very simple animals. Carrying the pungent oder that they do the Elums use this smell as a means of identification, sex, condition (health wise), and prehaps other various reasons. Mudokons often use the Elum as a means of transportaion. Elum, with they're great speeds, help the Muokons hunt down prey that, otherwise would be considered nearly impossible to catch.

Aside from the Elums stench the Elum also use vocal calls as a form of communication and mating rituals. They're howls can be heard during certain times of the year all over the place, and can be quite annoying. Most of the time Elums can be very social but (from what I've seen) they usally don't tend to travel in heards or packs.

Munch's Oddysee was a rushed a bit to make the Xbox launch, after it ended development on PS2. Oddworld Inhabitants did not have the time to add him. I bet they had his model complete, but couldn't use it, so they altered it and placed a few in Vykker Suites (slautered).

I didn't know Elum was "mule" spelled backwords. Thanks for making me seem like an idiot Oddsville.;)

elums love honey, in AO (the only current game he's in) there are various bee hives and such that drip honey into little puddles, th elum then stops and starts lapping up the honey with his tongue, you have to get a rock and throw it at the bee hive, makin it fall, the bees attack elum and he run away from the honey...one of many puzzles in AO.

slig_hunter72 06-15-2003 08:01 PM

If you've played AO, you will remeber how easily Elums run off cliffs, piss off bees, and get blown up. Its fair to say that without your guidence the species is screwed.

Or you could say that Elums only do they things because they get confused by the Mudokons. The Elum certainly does seem to get a bit confused when Abe is running about, turning around in circles and so on. Interestingly, since the Meeches dies out there have been less and less natural predators, so maybe the Elum species is on the increase.

Actually no, they're getting caught by RuptureFarms as well to make Elum Chops, Elum Chubs (and Chub-ettes), Sloggy Chow and Elumer's Glue. Poor, poor Elums.
