Mudokon names (Not counting Abe and Alf.)
 

Hey guys do mudokons even have names? not counting sam big face alf and Abe.

there is Buddy the fat mud who helps Alf... I know there are others in the dear Alf section but I can't find iit back

yes theres buddy, and...lemme think....i know otheres but forget um, i remember alf saying he plays Hacki Sac with these other muds he named but i cant find it back, they talked about it alot in the Alf archives last year....

Alf also listed a bunch of names (namely Pat, Chris, Cory and Linda), but it's not known if these are actual Mudokon names or him trying to be witty.

Po is the Scrub wearing the burger outfit seen in one of those pictures released before MO that revealed what we should have expected from the game. *mumble grumble*

Tom is a Tomahawker (geddit?) Mudokon Alf 'shouts' to in one of his answers.

I'm sure that's an ID badge, yes. I suppose it could stand for the name of the franchise, but I'm still sure it's his name. OWI might want to elaborate. They've said that they like to use all their ideas, so maybe we'll see this burger franchsie and "Po" in the future.

Maybe, but Po as a name existed before the Teletubbies. I like how Oddworld keeps coming up with such rare, yet quite simple names, like Latamire aznd Lulu. Besides, Po is a cute name, so the Cartel would probably use it for a selling point. I'm sure cuteness can actually have a selling point on the Oddworld market - just look at those cartoon Scrabs and Paramites on the RuptureFarms labels.

Sligs dont have names. Wildlife dont have names.O.I. just didnt have time to name like 100000000000000000 mudokons.

Po is definitely his name. In America, the name of the company is not worn on the chest. The sticker or clip on the chest is always a name tag. In the picture, it is clearly a letter P and a letter O. Therefore, his name must be Po.

i always thought PO on that stood for something, like i see PO on a lot of signs to stores and stuff, theres this big plant that produces Odd only knows and on its sign on its gate it says PO in small letters in the right hand corner....
but maybe it is a name.....who knows

i found out the PO on all those signs meens post office....but i doubt its the same with the scrub, no way that guy PO-friendly:confused:

Don't be silly, Alf himself came here and said Abe does have a last name. Remember?

I doubt those two examples acount for all Sligs. Like I said elsewhere, Crig was probably named because he appears in a popular medium, where readers will want to know that the columnists are competant people, hence the name. Wildum is clearly a derogatory nickname given to that Slig Alf described, although whether it was given by the Mudokons or the Sligs is not know. Neither of them necessarily indicate that all, or even most, Sligs actually have names.

I was talking about BEFORE Alf's info... sorry if it wasn't clear.

Crig is only a reporter because his right arm was eaten by a Fleech while he was patroling the Slig Barracks. He tells the tale himself at Dear Alf.

I'm abviously not as big a fan as most of you, I didn't serach every Odd site and convert them to memory.

Yes, well back to this "Po" thing. Long ago when I first saw this image I also belived it was his name, but after time I now belive that it stands for his class of Mud, the Poser. I just assumed that they put it in just for production purposes and not much else, but who know's Max could be right?

Interesting idea, but 'Po' is clearly of Scrub status. It's even him shown on the Mudokon status image under 'scrub'.
