Will Munch's Oddysee be an X-Box Launch Title?
 

If it is, then I'm certainly purchasing the X-box! :) I've been trying to decide between which console I want for Christmas: PS2 or X-Box (I don't want Gamecube because Nintendo has been licensing "kiddy" games as of late). However, if Munch's Oddysee will be out with X-box (or released before Christmas), then hell yes!

if OWI did do a switch we will have to wait ages for it again. Plus they won't because they seem to be very devoted to the box!

What's wrong with owning all the systems if possible. Sure the PS2 is nice, kinda like a Porsche. But with my Gamecube and XBOX it's kinda like having a Ferrari and Lear jet to go along with that Porsche.You catch my drift ... don't ya

Unless Nintendo produces some decent games, all the single-pass texture mapping power in the world won't make Gamecube better than a PS2 with great software.

Metroid GC could be unreal if they pull it off like the SNES version, though...

what i dont freaking understand is why the box is waiting so long to come out, ps2 and the cube came out basically at the same time for competition, people who are going for consoles will have to choose from two. If the box came out with the other 2 it would have wiped the floor with their asses!!

Cube's coming out after the Xbox. Supposedly, Nintendo isn't really worrying about this because they dominate the handheld market. Gameboy Advance will keep the money rolling in until the new console arrives.

oh, i didn't know that. oops well the cubes problems is that its dark and very blurry games.

Gamecube is coming in the States on November 5th. The XBOX is coming November 8th. The BOX may come on November 1st, just to get that little upperhand on Gamecube.

Gamecube will never have the sheer amount of games the BOX and PS2 will have,but.... they certantly will have that "must have 5-6 titles" each year, to me it adds to my overall game experience.I'd rather be playing Gamecubes best five of the year than PS2's 15th to 20th best of the year.In other words I'd rather play the best of the best on all the systems.

As for games,the CUBE already have proven games coming,one is Mario, I have seen a small movie and many conceptual drawings of the game, and it will be a trend setter upon it's arrival,tons of news on this Mario game coming in two weeks from Spaceworld in Japan.Others are Zelda, Too human,Mario carts,Thornado,and Metroid prime( Hopefully they are giving a 3rd person option to go with that 1st person one),and others including Rare's secret projects.

Oh please, "an upper hand on Gamecube?" Just because it's released a few days before another system, is that realy gonna make a big difference? I dont think so. I got a PS2 as an unexpected present. I am currently saving up for the X-Box, mostly because of Munch and the rest of the OWI games in the future. I cannot afford to get all the consoles, I'm only 17 for cripes sake. And for those who aren't devoted to a certain game or company and can only afford one system, I do not think that an earlier release date of a few days will give a certain colsole any real edge, at all.

But then again, I'm not in the business, so I could be wrong.

I'm not saying an upperhand is a big deal when it comes to days, but Microsoft is doing it for there own reasons.If you can only afford one system, I'm sorry for you. But if you can only have one I'd go for an XBOX. Munch, and many others coming cannot be missed.

xbox is comming last so it can kick the other impatient losers where it hurts! :cool:
