seeing as how the cartoon idea was not all that well received how about a comic book. Now that I think about it that would probably work best anyways. No sound in comic books. No springy noises. Only good odd readin'.

Now that's an idea. I don't really like 'comic books' that use CGI, I think it looks tacky. As long as it would still keep the dark humour and everything, then I'd love to go out and proudly buy the Oddworld Comic. It'd be nice to have any Oddworld merchandise that you can go out and buy, really.

like for the cartoons, keep the oddworld spirit and stay coherent with the rest, but why not

I think that the games are the best. You can't have such fun in a comic book as in a game.

On one hand, comics would be a chance to expand the Odd universe and learn more easily.

On the other, it takes away from the games atmosphere and it takes away from actually experiencing what Abe does and empathizing with the Mudokons.

My vote goes towards stick with games. I think that the games captured Oddworld the best and it should stay that way.

If Oddworld are going to do anything they should just do animated CG shorts, explaining background of races, and of Oddworld itself.
They could have the raisin as a storyteller( cheesey though) explaining relationships between each race and how they evolved to the point they are at now.
Now that would be sweet

since we seem to be on the subject of comic books, I just bought a scanner. expect to see updates/ promo chapters on my comic:D .

i think that was spam, i aint sure though cause i have no idea what your referring to, anyway and oddworld comic sounds great, but are you gonna make it, i'm making oddworld animation shorts, but theyre not crapily drawn like Tartakovsky does. it's practically CG with ink lines, i draw the characters very identicle, i always make sure of that.

Sadly, it wasn't satire. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to a blink-182 concert... afterwhich I will purchase over-priced studded bracelets and music at Hot Topic.

Tartakovskys drawings are not "crappy". It is supposed to give a sense of the surreal. I think he pulls it off nicely. Don't respond to this or I will tell everyone that you are mean and stupid for not realising that my opinion is true and right. I am he who is always right. Except when I'm wrong. I think that they should stick to games. I heard that after their done with the QUINTOLOGY their going to make Odd-Movies!

well they are also probably making a new serie of games after the quintology... they are planning a lot of stuff you know
