About banners in signatures...

I've tried putting a banner in my signature, but for some reason, the little box with an 'x' in it just shows up. I've double and triple checked the address in the image code, and that all works, but for some reason the banner won't show up. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks.

Yes, please supply us with the link to the image. It can be for one of many reasons that your signature image is not working.

Ooh, Geocities, evil... from what I know Geocities won't let you link an image from off-site.

In my case, I just posted an attachment with my banner in the picture request topic, and then linked to that... that should work for you.

Yes, your signature must conform to the Rules. Banner Images may only me at maximum 400 width x 125 height (pixels).

Yep, they're evil! I've also seen people get around the off-site image linking by changing the extension of the file to .txt. I don't know how that works, but I've seen it work.
