Enlighten me, Xbox Live, do you need a credit card and shtuffs? Also, is it easy to set up? Also, what games can you play on it? Also is it lag-ridden?

you may buy stuff in the futur but at the moment everything is free.
It doesn't lag too often, it goes pretty good

Well, there are a few games... with a few more coming out in the future. I suggest renting Unreal Championship, MechAssault, and MotoGP if you get Live... to see what you like. But definitely pick up Return to Castle Wolfenstien. The single player game is enough reason to buy it.
Depends. Most games tell you how the speed is in a server. However, with games like RTCW, there is either no lag at all, or so much lag that you can't even play.

I know Xavier already explained all of that, but I wanted to feel special. Zeruel is mega-pissed that Brute Force isn't on Live.

Well I am back ... sure, it's a good suggestion, seeing there are many Xbox players on here. Mind you, Xbox Live doesn't even seem to be coming anywhere for us Australians, so we'll have empty fields in that area!

Do you guys think it should just be a field for the Xbox GamerTag, or should we make it a more generic online tag thing? I guess it would get too confusing if it were generic though, as some people use different names for different online games.

I'm thinking about getting XBOX live, isn't the first year free? I think I heard that somewhere. Can you change your name if you don't like it later in life?

I'm planning on getting Xbox Live............someday. Hopefully my gamertag can be oddguy, but chances are it's allready been used. oddguy was used on AIM, so I'm oddestguy........that might work on Xbox Live if oddguy is taken! :D

The thing is, we can. But, we need a broadband connection, and this I cannot do. Unless, I get a sattelite improt from America or somewhere, but it isn't worth the trouble! I'll wait till it come to my humble old country. :P
