the Leo project
 

okay, this story is about the first ever member of team "wildfire". It takes place in 1997, enjoy... (this has nothin to do with my other wildfire story, only the team naem has been carried over, all the other characters havnt been)


Captain Walker walked down the narrow dark hallway. 2 guards at the end stopped him. They checked his ID card and had him take a retinal scan. He entered a dark room with UV lights. The purple glow reflected off of a screaming body in the centre. A well-muscled human lay on a surgical table, doctors pinning him down as they did lots of checks on him. They were cutting his arms open and placing in long metal wires. The screaming suddenly stopped and he went to sleep. “About time you got here,” said on of the doctors, “Leo has resisted lots, but the muscle enhancers are now being implanted”. “Very good, I trust that there has been no other problems” said walker “yes, all is going to plan, the Leo project will soon be finished”. “Excellent, has he trained with the new weapons?” walker asked “yes, except he was not strong enough to lift the reaper, but he will be by the time these implants are finished”.

Walker went over to the now awake soldier; he was not feeling the pain anymore. His eyes were full of hatred. “Welcome Leo” he said to the soldier, “You are the Son of God, you will destroy all that is in your way, you will not be weak” The soldier just glared back at him. Walker walked away, “I want his mind washed of all but his training, he must have nothing to stop him from his goals” he said to a doctor on his way out. He went out of the door he came in through, the 2 soldiers stood to attention and saluted, “at ease” he said and he walked down the dark corridor, leaving the most powerful soldier ever created behind him.

will there be any sequels?

this is the first saga out of 3 in the wildfire trilogy. Pay attention to the names of all ther characters, as they will al play a part sooner or later.

Personally I thought that was good. I liked the way you decribed the setting, Ferill..

okay cool! my first success! i'll put more up then!

Leo past the other training courses with flying colours. He could run faster than any other soldier, he was stronger, had a very tactical mind, master of any weapon, and had nothing to distract him from his mission. Walker went to see Leo while he was at the firing range. He was shooting an M-4 with incredible accuracy; he has ripping the targets apart. “Hello Leo…” he said “…and what are you doing?” Leo stood to attention going as stiff as a tree “ I was shooting at training enemy sir! He did not fire back sir!” he shouted. He picked up his rifle, reloaded it without looking, crouched and went back to shooting full auto at the target. Even on full auto he was incredibly accurate. When he had finished, he looked at the target, and field stripped his weapon, not taking his glance of the target. Then he stood up. “Well done Leo, I’m very impressed, 29 out of 30 bullets hit the target… what type of bullets…?” “5.56 SIR!” he shouted back. “Very good, how would you like to do some more shooting?” “YES SIR!” he shouted. He then moved down the shooting course, and picked up a XM-29 OICW. Though an experimental weapon, he knew how to use it. “You are the son of God Leo, keep it up…” said Walker as he left.
