hi,im new so if this has been asked,sorry:D i was wondering how scrabs howling prevented posssesion of them . is it a anti-posssesion chant or what?

Ehm... I don't quite understand what you mean... I mean, you can possess Scrabs. Well, at least in AE and MO... And you couldn't do it in AO, cuz Abe just found out about his powers, and didn't know how to use 'em properly (That's my theory anyway). And the howling is:

1: For getting another Scrabs attention.
2: For unlocking the Shred Power.

In AE that is. In MO, it is just some sort of... Uh... Yeah, what is it?

Oh well...

The Scrabs in AO and AE made the same sounds
MO scrabs made....rare noises, and they didn't fight (i understand the dominant male, yadayadayada,)

I haven't got a clue what i'm on about

actually they are afraid to be possesed and the howling is a kind of scream of fear

yeah, thats the way i always looked at it...theres no chant supression involved here just some creature yowling...thugh scrabs are sacred, theyre also just creatures (and tap-dancing ass kickers at that:fuzmad:)

Oh THAT howling... I always thought it was kinda like a tribute to the Shrykull... I mean, how many Muds can possess things? I think they (Scrabs 'n 'Mites) were born with a connection to the SK... As for AE, Abe's powers just got stronger... And it wasn't necessery (sp?) for Abe to possess Scrabs and 'Mites before...

i thought MO descraced paramites and scrabs....in the paramite run, hundreds of paramites die due to mines...theyre sacred, MO killed them....how dare they!!!!!!!:fuzmad:

you kill Scrabs and paramites in AO and AE too you know, even if they are sacred

i know but at least it wasnt at industrial hand, all creatures die to the wilderness eventually, but there souls were taken in MO, not put to rest
