The origin of your Username
This has always intersted me...how did you decide on your Username for the forums? When I first went on oddchat the first person i talked to was "Fleech Kisser" so i decided to use a name similar to that "Fleech Kisser-Glukkon Killer"...Where did yur names come from?

I kept seeing 'facsimile' at the bottom of our school newsletter and I started to like it. Then their was the whole legal process of making this my name but that is basically it.

About 6 years ago I decided to desighn an Oddworld computer game with a character called Splat, then about 2 years ago I decided to turn it into a story for Oddworld.au.com, and then about a year ago I decided that as it was taking so long to write I would join the forums under that name, Splat, and then post it on the forums (see the fan corner.)

I got my name from the night before I joined the forums from a dream I had. I was being chased by a bunch of Paramites like how Abe does in the games. The next day when I joined I dident have an idea on what I was going to call myself but then I put 2 and 2 together and I remembered my dream and thus Paramiteabe was born.

SeaRex... as in the "Sea Rex" creature that was going to be in MO, but was later scrapped. I kinda wish it wasn't an OW related name, because I do like it... I just wish I thought of it myself.

When I joined Oddworld Forums, my favourite character was General Dripik (he's still my favourite), but the name Dripik was a bit boring, so I decided to write it with a small 'd'.

I had seen a commercial for the crap while hanging out at my friend tommy's house. A couple of years later a friend kicked me in the...well, you know. It popped in my head so I screamed "NADS!!!"

Its a variation upon what I started using as my online name a couple years back. Majicly Delicious, Majic_Abe, majic Man101, Majic, etc...

Well mine obviously comes from a village, but in actuallity it was a village that I was going to have in all my fanfics (kinda like a subliminal signiture....I guess). I just really seemed to like it that I finally decided that it would make a pretty unique site and thus joined here soon afterwards.:fuzsmile:

Before I had read anything about MO, I had seen a picture of an Intern. I thought they looked pretty neat, and decided to read up on them.
When I signed up for the forums [for whatever reason] I was in a really bad mood. All I could think of was Intern, but that was Boring. So I turned it into 'Disgruntled Intern'. Plus, I figured that, despite the fact that they're made out to be indifferent pill poppers, Interns must be pretty damned disgruntled. |

I created this name a few years back. I was playing Tribes 2, and I wanted to have a catchy name online that seamlessly blended a number at the end, to make sure it wasn't already taken, while still sounding good.

Hello Glukkon Killer. My username is after Yuna from Final Fantasy X. She is a summoner, so therefore I chose Summoner Yuna. She is my favorite female character from this game. I could have chosen something about Tidus like I usually do when I sign up for forums, but I decided to make my name something different for these forums.
P.S. I did notice that my Person above you thread has been closed. I would have responded to the petition, but this has been closed also. I would have to say that I would have agreed, as I did not think that my topic would be that successful. I think I have had the most successful topic maybe. |
Seargent Big is a name for a character I played in a game in primary school, along with Happy Little Jester in another game. I use those two names in different things, and I just decided that I would be nicknamed Seargentbig for this. I use my other name here sometimes, even if it is abreviated.

Well, I don't really know why I pickled Statikk, it could have been because that is slang for an argument, or the saying "The more things change the more things stay the same". HDM is just initials. I like to think of Statikk HDm as the entire book of Ecclesiastes in a user name.

i was thinkin up my half-life profile, when i want ed a name that noone would forget, and one that could scare people...sort of. So i just came up with Ferill, completely original. If it has a meaning then it is completely coincidental.

When I first joined, I was making my website Oddworld Universe. I wanted a name I could use for both the website and the forums.
I remembered that most names of Mudokons started with "A" as in; Abe, Alf. So I knew my name would have to begin with A. I also wanted to go along with the Alf feeling, so I used "L" as my second letter. The "CAR" came from who knows where... :D And so my name was born. Alcar... |

I didn't just choose my name for this forum. I have been using it for quite a while. The first time was probably playing Diablo.

I just took the name off mollucks old aol account. Because i was lazy then (i still am) and i can' be bothred to think up names. :D

Gryph is my online name everywhere else... and I've always liked sligs, so Gryph the Slig came to mind.
