Will there be an oddworld movie? Got any ideas? i think there might be a 4th of a chance of there being a movie what do you think?:fuzconf: :confused: :fuzcool:

xav, i hope your right....if OWI gets enough enough publicity they could make a movie........maybe thats why theyre takin' so long, praps theyre makin a movie ta go along wit' the next game:fuzsmile:

They are making the games first because they want to see how well the product sells before they jump to movies. And as of now so far its been a success.

OWI's next game'll be great....you wait and see, they mite as well start on the films anyway

Yes they're defenately going to make an Oddworld movie in the future. As a matter of fact (seeing as knowone stated it yet) the Oddworld Quintology was originally ment to be a movie but Lorne had a change of mind and decided games would be the best way to go at the time. We could possibly see this movie come out near the end of the Quintology, but I hightly doubt it so my moneys on away's after it. Although, awhile back there actually was an Oddworld movie short that was released in selected theaters. I won the auction on ebay for the video of it but then realized that it wouldn't work on my type of VCR and had to let the owner re-auction it.:fuzsad:

I don't want an Oddworld movie, the OWI's should focus on the Quintology.

Abe's Exoddus was the first ever video game to be nominated for an oscar, but for it to qualify for the nominations, it had to have been shown on the big screen. Hence, OWI stuck together the movies from Abe's Exoddus together with some new, exclusive material, and aired it in a few local cinemas. It was called Abe's Exoddus: The Movie, hence the four movie posters.

If they do make any feature-length Oddworld movies, they'll have to add A LOT to the plot. In the games, there are reallu only a few places and things that happen, with gameplay in-between movies. And since OWI can't just show everything that happens in gameplay in a big-screen format, they'll need a buttload of other stuff to happen. Still, I'm optimistic!:fuzgrin: :fuzgrin: :fuzgrin:

Yeah, I dont think oddworld games ever have a real big plot. In the movie the plot should be "Evil Paramites Are running loose killing gluks vykks sligs and interns."Then abe and munch go on an adventure escaping pmites and at the end they find out that like molluk or drippik turned them loose yo rule the world or something...
