E3 News and Info (non-Oddworld)
Okay, before we get a million different topics on what games are releasing what in this year's E3, I've created this for everyone to put their news, screenshots, etc. Seeing we (again) have (yet) another (damn) Halo topic in here *sigh*, I don't want to go seeing a FF topic and a whatever else topic just for a movie or a few screens.
I'll start off with some FF news (obviously, seeing there ain't any Oddworld news around yet). http://ps2.ign.com/articles/402/402228p1.html Looks like Sony and Square-Enix have signed/completed a deal to release FFXI in the US. I just hope it's released in other countries also. Otherwise I'm importing the PC version!!! Also, (of more general gaming news) is the announcement of the PS2's hard drive (again US ... *groan*). I much prefer hard drives over memory cards any day, as if you're a huge gamer, you don't have to either delete saves or buy another memory card. Erm ... E3 info. You know, information on games that is being announced at E3. Please don't tell me I need to explain E3 to you, it's not for cheats. Like that damn Halo topic. *wonders whether to close it, so people can discuss Halo in here*

Oh well... No Oddworld information. I did browse some games on http://www.gamespot.com that were showcased at e3. GameSpot and IGN are fairly good resources. The only problem is you have to pay to see movies and a few other things. Alcar... |
Saddly I don't think Oddworld is at E3, when I checked the official Xbox site earlier today they had a list of all the games debuting. But I didn't see Oddworld in there at all?:fuzsad:

Here are some Screenshots for MGS: Twin Snakes. So far, I'm not impressed. It hardly looks like an improvement over MGS2.

Apparently, Twin Snakes is a complete remake of the first MGS (wiggy!), and Snake Eater is the new game. My fathers game developer company has been shipped to the usa, for e3 while i am stuck here in N.Z having to increase the phone bill drastically. But I do know that there was a game there called Whiplash, only 2-player where one person is a weasel and the other beaing a bunny. But they are both chained together. The only way of attacking is swinging the rabbit above the weasel's head and smacking yor enemy.
Very weird concept.... Apparently when he got in the Halo 2 booth people were cheering when the main marine got out two machine guns. Oh, how I anticipate Halo 2's arrival... |
Hello Abe Babe and Big_Bro_Slig222. Thank you for the information on Final Fantasy. I like those Crystal Chronicles screenshots, it looks like it will be a very beautiful and cute game. I recognize the monster from the second screenshot, he is from FFX.
