strange koinkidink!
in the movie: Total Recall, on the planet Mars there are alien artifacts that date back half a million years. well, i was amazed by how the artifact that changes Mars into an Earth-like planet is a hand print that is EXACTLY identical to Abe's in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. watch the movie and tell me what ya think!

I've seen Total Recall a number of times, and never related that to the devices that control various things around Oddworld. Probably just a coincidence though, because I've also seen the hand print used as form of identification in other sci-fi/futuristic movies and series.

Gee, I loved that movie, not just because of the old Arnie, but because of the so intriguing plot and visual effects. Total Recall was released in 1990, and OWI started in 1994, plus Abe only lost his fourth finger in 1998, in Abe's Exoddus. so, there is no connection between the Alien Artifact in Total Recall and the mudokons species. I only made the connection when I first watcehd the "Get Freaky" video clip, because at the enad the rappers(?) show a three fingerwd hand the same way Arnie did to fit the Alien artifact in Total Recall. So, I'd say it's a coincidence.  |
yeah, but it was the four-fingered hand and everything... but the movie also had prostitutes with three boobs, so i didnt mean that there was much of a REAL connection... merely similarities.

Yes. I am a very naughty Mudokon - not only did I lose the plot, but I was dreaming about the Macarena. Today I called a Slig to beat me until I see the error of my ways.
