sligs... friend or foe
:fuzvamp: Sligs, the main torturer of Magog companies and vykkers, but, they are being made to do it so what is it Friend Or Foe ?
|
sligs are vicious by nature... they allways be, so we can't forgive someone to be vicious all the time and that never stop
|
Wow, alot of philisophical (sp.) new members.
I think it is the harsh upbringing that the sligs get that makes them hard and harsh. For example If they were brought up lovingly they wouldn't be as harsh. |
i think they're ok... but weird
|
even if they were brougt up in a normal environement they will, by nature, turn vicious and evil.
they are like that by nature, you can't change them |
I thought that Sligs were gentle, but it was Skillya that turned them nasty.
According to Alf: No, they aren't evil all because of the Glukkons. It is also typically thought that Sligs are malicious and sadistic at birth. This is not true either. The callus nature of a Slig is the result of parental shortcomings. Deprived of their early needs, they grow hardened to the ways of their reality. What could have turned out to be a race of sensitive, loving creatures, has in practice been perverted to become the most reliable clan for the contracting of dirty deeds. If left alone, Sligs talk to themselves to cope with their loneliness. "Parental shortcomings" would relate to Skillya, and her ever so evil, evilness. Alcar... |
:
The average industrial slig is far too dumb to figure out the most evil ways of torture, they don't even learn how to be nasty from their masters, they just follow orders. Wild sligs are most probably quite sensitive, spiritual and loving creatures. I am all for sligs, they are my faveourite industrial creature, and probably the most easily identified aswell. Reese |
so the whole problem is Skillya?
that's strange... I wonder what the magog is giving to her for her kids, only moolah? |
One would have thought so yes. Unless of course she has been corrupted too.

Isn't Skillya, actually the head of the Magog Cartel?
Alcar... |
No, she is part of it. The head of the Magog Cartel is a somewhat misty subject, but I'll try to throw some light on it. The Magog Cartel is split into franchises, each of the frachises are positions of management for other companies to take up a position at the facility it governs. Being a manager of a Magog Cartel franchise gives you access to the exclusive Magog Cartel "circle". If your business is doing badly, other members of the Magog Cartel Circle set up a board meeting to disscuss what to do, because if your fanchise is losing money, other franchises don't get as much profit. Occationally businesses will go down the pan and Magog Cartel members will be kicked out of the circle and fined for the losses. However, if the business does well, the manager of that franchise will be able to make profits. The Magog Cartel doesn't run any of its own facilities in other words, it charges other glukkons to do it, the glukkons can then use Magog Cartel subsidies and grants to hire workers and sligs etc. Skillya is a member of the Magog Cartel so that she can make profit off of Magog Cartels good business, and the Magog Cartel let her do this because she has to pay to be part of the Magog Cartel. Its sort of like a business social club. If a glukkon has no money but wants to run a franchise, he can do so by taking on new facilities and use his profits to pay for his membership to the Magog Cartel. Its a very complicated system, but once you have got the hang of it you will be able to see more clearly whats going on. The person who owns the Magog Cartel will be the person who is making profit off all the glukkons hard work, this will most likely be a chronicler or glockstar. Also, whoever owns the Magog Cartel, gets money off of the gluks that run the facilities, plus a percentage of the profits from each one, so no matter how bad business is, the owner will still get profit.
Hope that helps Reese |
