yeah I'm but I don't think it can change anything if people knows it (anyway the definition of goth here in belgium is only the clothe style not all that depressed and hate-life things)

I think he is just trying to be silly!:fuzwink: Anyway I love Gothic Art infact Gothic Art is one of the things that inspires me a lot when I do my own artwork. I use a lot of that cathedral styal art in the archetecture in a story I am currently thinking of and writeing. Pretty soon in say the next few weeks you and who ever that goes into The Non Oddworld Fan Cornor will be able to see some interesting Gothic Archetecture that I have take place in my story.
The interesting thing is that I sort of gave the dark Gothic look a new character. Like sort of mixed in an Oddworldish feel to it since my story is Science Fiction and takes place within the entire Universe. You got to see it to believe it hehe! But lets just say the characters in my story are like Mid evil Gothic like in a very technical way of life or enviorment. Well if you want I can show a picture I am currnetly working on that is part of my story but I need to finnish it before I can show! So just give me some bit of time and I will surely show it.:D |

I don't consider myself a "goth" but I do have a fascination with the sinister and strange. I am a very good artist (just trust me on that one) and I usually draw "dark" things. Not gut-wrenching violence, just creepy and bizarre.

Yea thats me too because I just love drawing and painting bizzarre things and strange looking enviorments. It makes the feel of the story much more artisticly odd and cool I think. For instance there is a scene in my story that I havent painted yet but will. That is this vast waistland. An empty landscape sort of like a desert only the sky is a deep blue with several Cressant moons and strange upside down pyremids floating high in the sky. Below is solid rock or marble with countless black Monolyths floating that dot across the landscape. In this scene my main character sort of expierences some wierd ritual of this race that lives there. These beings are marching to the center of this strange landscape where a massive black Monolyth sits high upon a pyremid that stands tall with a Black hole above it. All of this sort of represents the gateway out of the Universe in my story. You see thats a sample of my imagination. Its just wierd.
This story I am writeing is called: "The Cosmic Fighter!" and soon as I get the first draft written and the first group conceptual drawings and paintings completed I will show you my universe of this very bizzarre, Gothic and long epic of adventures. Lets just say I have been thinking about these type of things since the fifth Grade and now I believe I am talented enough to make it happen. |
