And what is the purpose...? I am losing the purpose as a postor in this forum recently. I don't know why well myself...but If I will not find the purpose ,I must outgrow this forum .... |

Hello atusiya. I post here because it is fun. And I like this place, there are many good and funny people here. Although I do mostly post in the off topic forum, as I am not as much of an Oddworld fan as many others are here.

If you outgrow it, then don't bore yourself by hanging around for no reason.
Granted, you two [father and son] are some of my favorite members, and will be missed, there's no reason to stay if you lost interest. |
I used to come to the forums for Oddworld related things, but I am getting bored with Oddworld (probably the lack of anything new) and I only come in OT now.

Oddworld news is very little at the moment, so most of the activity is in off-topic. Plus it must be hard for you atuysi, as you are still waiting for Munch to come out in Japan. I myself stopped posting here for a while. Although I would visit every day in order to fulfil my responsibilities as Administrator, I would rarely post. I felt it difficult to post and could not bring myself to be interested in any topics. I was going through a lot of personal problems and depression and as a result I lost motivation to post here. In the end I found that one of the best things I could do was to become active again. It's become part of my recovery process. Abe Babe... |
Well, I don't know why I post here... I guess to share my thoughts and read others'. Usually, I'm in art and literature since I'm interested in art... And I'll be there a lot more once I get my hands on a decent comp, scanner and a program like photoshop. I hate my current situation... unable to pump out CG artwork!!!
Anyway, you two are very popular members here so it would really be a shame to see you go. If you want a purpose to post I've got one: TO SPREAD JOY AND CHEER IN THE FORUMS :D. And you've got a knack for finding unusual information and sites so you could just post stuff that might be interesting. And now a note to everyone... You've gotta turn that frown upside down like this -> :)... or even better... THIS -> :D! Everybody always be happy... LOOK! It's the easter bunny! Here to spread some happiness! This is one of the things I am concerned about in these slow times. Everyone will leave and this place will become a Ghost Town. Mann I hope that never happens! With the lack of anything new it sure seems like a Ghost Town. Its sad really!:( I mean yea we all have lives but comming here and just carrying on conversation with one another is indeed something special to me. Do come back one day because your alweys welcome my friend!

I don't think there is any point to posting if you lose interest. I think that this forum is only really interesting when new games are about to or have just come out. Atusi and father, you will both be missed but don't feel obligated to post. Just drop by once and a while to see what is going on.
I also will probably be spending a lot less time here. I'm not leaving, but I have started devoteing a lot of time to track, my band and basically all sorts of other things. Oddworld isn't my top priority and I can't see why anyone should stay around if they feel the same. So I guess we'll see less of you Atusi. You will be missed. Just stay odd! ps sorry for never drawing that picture... I just never got around to it |
well, you will be missed, but it doesn't have to be a final goodbye, come a bit to see us. You are allways welcome here you know it...

I'd seen less of your posts, and your regular warm PMs to myself with interesting facts or websites. It's a shame that Munch's Oddysee isn't out in Japan yet, and here I was complaining when Australia didn't get it when the US did. You'll be missed Atusi and Father! However, I hope you return on day to post more. It's always sad to see someone leave our family. And, as your custom title says, you did bring friendship here, you never made one enemy here. You two will truely be missed here at the forums. If I had to say why I post here It'd probably be because this place is alittle home away from home, so to speak. I enjoy just reading what the others have to say and just being part of this community, its fun. In the end, if you loose interest here there is no point in begining to hate it by forcing yourself to post moreoften when you don't really want to at all.
You will be missed by all of us here and are always welcome to comeback or just visit from time to time. Oh and btw, I think thats a great picture Alcar.:fuzwink: |
