Photoshop 7

Okay, I've recently got the demo version of Photoshop 7 just to try out. I get in, and wanted to test the fonts tool, as that's what I'm most interested in. However, I use the font tool and type the letter "h", and it appears HUGE! Even though it's set as 6pt which is the lowest it can go!

I can only see the lower tip of the letter "h", its that HUGE! What am I doing wrong people?

I've got PhotoShop 7 both at home and at work. I've never come across anything like that before with it. Maybe it's a bug w/ the demo version, as work bought us the full verison (lucky me!).

Just watch out for that porn/dating toolbar I told you about.

Crack it you say? *cough* I already have *cough*

And after some aided assistance I found the problem! Apparently having a too high resolution is the problem. I had it as 4000, which was the defualt, so I changed it to 100.

I have no idea why resolution plays a part, afterall the image is 350 X 350, so why should resolution play a part :fuzconf:

Hacked programs. *cough, cough*

Anyway... actually I didn't think of the image resolution. But yeah, now you mention it, that does have a play. The larger the resolution (which is dots per inch/mm), the larger the image will be. Web resolution is generally 100 dpi. Whereas print resolution is around 300 dpi. I've worked on some A4 print resolution images before, and the size of those is huge! I can only imagine what a 4000 dpi image size would be.

Ah well, 6 is cool ;)
