Attention: Latest Forum Information
 

The last month or so Oddworld Forums has been going through periods of extreme slowness with occasional downtime. This was frustrating for everyone.
I emailed my service provider and requested to know what was going on, but didn't hear from them for some time, and yesterday I received an email in which they first acknowledged any kind of problem:

“We are investigating and resolving issues affecting a small portion of migrated customers that experienced technical issues or outage. These few cases are being handled individually and with much speed and care. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this process may have caused.

We appreciate your business and we again extend our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this migration. We are certain you will enjoy the new Web hosting platform and the increased stability and performance it brings to you and your site.”

Before posting this topic, I noticed the forum was loading at lightning speed. Perhaps the server has been fixed? Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope this is the last of forum downtime.

That is great to hear Sydney!

Here's hoping that this is a sign... as I noticed that the loading time has been quite fast today as compared to the previous two days. We may not even need to re-consider a reinstall afterall, and I can go back to working on more hacks/additions for the forums!

They apologise and say it should be better soon. It seems A LOT better at the moment!!! These pages are loading like never before, I hope it stays this way.

Yes, I too have noticed that the forums are much quicker...of course it is 9:20 am EST and no one's on, but they sure weren't this fast yesterday at the same time!! :D

God Damn, I is running fast. I took me like 10mins to load in a main forum.
