Online Gaming
Ok, my friends and I really need a new online game. Our last one was Diablo and that was last year. Do you have any ideas of good multiplayer online games for PC? But not strategy eg. Command & Conquer, Warcraft, as they take too long.

try counter-strike:condition zero. Its comin out later in the year for PC and xbox. Its suppose to be better then the original counter-strike!

ya id say CS, its one of my fav. on-line games, other cool and some other games alot of ppl play are Quake and Battlefield 1942, my favs. are ( used to be Diablo ) , warcraft, counterstrike and starcraft

Well, there's always Evercrack, Anarchy Online, Planet Fall, or other such MMORPGs.
I don't do any online gaming that requires a monthly fee, so I wouldn't know. Well, if I somehow get a job, I might get Phantasy Star Online (I think that's how they're spelling it) for the X-Box. I just don't like the idea of paying for a game that you already bought every single month... |
ya i dont like paying either, but another good rpg i just remembered is NeverWinterNights, i havent played it but i hear alot of ppl say its really fun, like diablo but more in depth with the stories

Yes Neverwinter Nights is a surperb game and i recommend it highly, except its not exceptionally online... just like diablo.... if you really like online game you can try runescape even though it has crappy graphics and the economy inside the game is getting worse from too much competition.
If you want to play a massive multiplayer online game with good graphics you could try Helbreath.(BUT ITS P2P NOW.... stupid capitalist) |
ya i think its dumb when u gotta pay 2 play because we aleady bought their game now they want more money for playin it? i think thas stupid when companies make u pay to play, thas why i respect blizz, even though microsoft us buyin em, they make great games and it dont cost to play

Neverwinter nights you dont have to pay to play. But i sims online you have to pay to play. But you get 90 days free trail.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is amazing online, and it should be rather cheap now.

Fax, what do you mean RTS's take too long? Too long to play a game? Too long to install? Too long to learn to play properly? I mean Diablo takes a while to play doesn't it?
Now StarCraft... Theirs a game that can finish in 3 minutes :D. 30 minutes is considered a REALLY long game. StarCraft is still cool (even after so many years). |

And Diablo does take long but you don't have to do it all at once. And no, Neopets aren't really what I'm looking for. I have seen this Neverwinter Nights in the shop. I don't know how much it is though. I just bought Red Faction, I hope it's good. It doesn't really matter though as it was cheap. I can't find Counter-strike any where in my town. But I heard it is great on the net. Oh and I just started playing Worms Armageddon again. But everyone on Wormnet is way better than me! :crying: |

neverwinter nights screenshots I dont really like Red Faction since its too ummm.... too space age kinda feel. Counterstrike is the best 1st person game there is. It really realistic, but it only shows its potential if you play lan or online. If you cant play online, goto some internet cafe and there would be people playing it on lan. The worms series are mad, it is one of the first game i played on computer.... |

Cs is prolly the best on-line game period right now. Sc is still very fun after a long time and i also think the War3 owns. i like rts prolly the best because in my opinion they take most skill. like diablo if ur items are good then ur good, in rts' its all skill. Cs takes alotta skill too

Cs gets kinda boring after a while, its the same thing over and over again. I got bored off it when i dont even buy weapons and just go around using my Usp headshotting everyone and stealing they're weapons.
Now for 1st person shooting game, i'm playing battlefield1942. Its about World War 2. You can actually drives planes and ship and tanks. Its less about using guns and more about teamwork. |

I got to hand it to rainbow six and ghost recon are pretty good game. But i dont like the way how you die, too realistic. But people in Hong Kong play Rainbow six more then Cs.

ya ghost recon is a real fun game. But i think cs is the best made on-line game because of all the options and it takes more skill then any game ive ever heard of, becuase of all the types of strategies. i dont know how it can get borring to u because i think its brilliant and SO INCREDIBLY FUN.

Well i'm just exageratting, not that super good, but just alot of headshots. Anyways if i wanted to make money, i would just sell my runescape stuff...
