Secret Shortcut in The Boardroom! (AO)
 
Tired of jumping all of thoes pesky bombs? Now you don't have to!

After entering the Boardroom Level after the "he was pissed" FMV, drop down to the next screen.

After you reach the top platform on screen two, drop down to the last platform and make a running jump to the left.

It is CRUCIAL that you jump exactly at the end.

You should end up hanging from a small ledge in the shadows. DO NOT DROP AT THIS POINT! Pull up and crouch then roll to the left and...TA-DAA! you drop to the lever that turns off the first electric field. Then you guys can take it from there.

I think this saves at least a few seconds time than the long way, but with a two minute time limit and deadly gas waiting, any chance to save time counts!

I got this from a fellow Oddworldian at school today (Every Frday we have the afternoon to participate in what's called a Behavior Party. I always bring Abe's Oddysee to school on Friday).

I took that way the first time I played the boardroom. All the other times I played the boardroom I took that way too. Actually, since the shortcut is so easy, I never took the difficult way.

You can still make it to him, but it takes less time than the regular way.

it's not close up....it's just that they added all that stuff to make the screenshoot more exciting, if nothing was added it would be boring cuz theres no actual enemies there

yeah, i found out about that when i tried to run and jump to skip the bombs and when i found out i was like Holy Crikey!!! that is sweet! ,but yeah i knew that, iwas wondering if anyone else knew that.
