PS3/X-Box2
 

Yep you heard it right developers are planning on makeing an X-Box 2 and a PS3. My friend told me this. I don't know if I balieve it but its looking like we will be seeing those two systems soon. It is in the working stages right now though.

And quite frankly I think they should wait on it. Let the X-Box and PS2 just soak in a little bit more ya know?

i totally agree, i mean cmon think about it. people are still playin halo 1 all the time, and its been out for year and a half. if they are plannin on halving xbox xmas 04 thas gonna give ppl 6 months to pplay Halo 2 b4 the new system comes out and frnakly i think ppl will want a lil more time with their xbox 1 stuff b4 xbox 2 comes out. im sure u can play xbox 1 games on xbox 2 but im just saying, whats the hurry? let sony have the headstart, because when xbox 2 comes out i want it to blow ppl away more then anything, i thinks it dumb that the two companys r racing because someone is gonna screw up, i say wait

Well lets just hope that OWI doesn't plan on makeing the next three Oddworlds for X-Box 2. That would drive me crazy. But at least the next four or so games I balieve is X-Box exclusive so don't think we have to worry too much about that for a little bit I hope!

Well from what I know PS3 is schedualed for 2004 (most likely, could be pushed back) and X-Box2 is schedualed for 2006.:fuzsmile:

I think they sould wait a while and play around with the kind of games they can do on Xbox 1 right now. It would be to soon to start on a new one. When Xbox 2 comes out im going to save all my pennys to get it, but for now i am fine with Xbox 1. I think they should wait atleast 4 years with out talking about making a new system. The Xbox has a lot of time on its back with it going Live and other things like that.

All 3 of the new systems are good. Unless I'm mistaken, they all have 128 bits of graphics, the games just enhance that, so no sytstem is better graphic wise, There are just some "fanboys" out there that feel that for one reason or another some games or systems are evil. I'm planning on getting Xbox when the price wanes, and as for PS2 no idea yet. Christ, I still play my atari in the basment. Remember the days when it was amazing to just see a block bounce of two rectangles? Those were the days....

thats false because xbox doesnt have 128 bits of graphics, it actually has 256, and bits arent the only things that make a system have good graphics, fps plays a big role too.

Hello Paramiteabe. I look forward to the new game consoles of PS3 and Xbox2. I would like to see the new capabilities and graphics that these can display.

And some people just like some systems better than others. There are always arguments on the internet about which console is better than the other. They are all good in their own way. For me I like them all. I have PS2 and Xbox and will buy a Gamecube when Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is released on it.

I am a huge long-standing Nintendo fan myself, Big_Bro_Slig.

Please, Xbox/PS2 fans...Do not knock Nintendo because of a blind loyalty to Xbox/PS2.

In my opinion Xbox games, apart from Halo and Munch's Oddysee, have just got no soul...things could change though, so i keep an open mind.

I just prefer Nintendo games, and have done all my life thus far, can't wait for Metroid Prime whcih is released Friday!

I'm looking forward to... god, I don't know. I don't really care that much either. When the consoles come out, I'll buy the one that has the most launch titles that I'm interested in... assuming I'll actually buy one. If I'm not interested in any of the games, that just gives me more time to do stuff that actually matters... and I'll save money in the process.

gamecube is still great its got some killer aps. but i just dont think it has good enough hardware to compete with the other consoles. of course ill buy the next 2 systems but thers no way im saving money yet because there is a long way

I meant that I would save money if I didn't buy any new consoles... not that I'm saving up money already to buy both.

The GameCube's hardware is far superior to that of the PS2, of course, the Xbox is the most powerful...but good hardware does not mean good games (unless you are solely interested in eye-candy). There are some Xbox games i'm looking forward to, though. Like DOOM III!

I haven't looked on the internet for DOOM III in a while. Are there any websites with a lot of info, screenshots etc on them?

ya u can find alot of info about doom 3 now on game websites etc. but i guess gamecube does have some good aps. RE series, Zelda, Metroid but i still think the other systems have better. esp. Halo

Yeah Halo is a brilliant game. Especially the multiplayer - in that respect, it's up there with (in fact, better than) Half-Life, Counter Strike and Quake III.

i agree and i think there is still so much work that can be done on halo MP. but ya Cs is a great game too, i go to internet cafes all the time and we always play cs, its loads o fun

Ah yes its nice to see another atari person out there. My Atari is a 2600 whats yours? Mann I have like a ton of ancient games for that system rangeing from Space Invaders to Slot Racers which was one of my favorites that and Atlantis is the other I like.

Anyway X-Box2 and PS3 will be great systems but we need a little more time still. Infact how many balieve that as the systems keep comming out in the future they will eventually end up being like Holo decks where you are actually in the game itself? That would be so cool.

Hello Big_Bro_Slig222. It is a FF game that Squaresoft are developing for the Gamecube. I do not think it is due to be released in Japan until at least the end of the year. I think it was delayed. I do not know why it is going to be Gamecube exclusive, but because it will be FF I will want to get it!!!!!!!

i heard that PS3, dubbed "the cell" and xbox2 are both coming out x-mas 2005...there is gonna be one hell of a console war!

It all depends on what you prefer. I like games like Splinter Cell, Unreal Championship, and Mechassault. Others like games such as Animal Crossing, Mario Sunshine, and Zelda. GCN is so different from PS2 and Xbox, so it would be difficult ot compare.

How many ps will they make and no need to make xbox 2 just make games to go with first xbox give up with new consles

have any of you seen the new Bond Movie ( not so new anymore) dia another day because when moneypenny ( i think its her) is wearing those goggles i think videogames will eventually be like that. i think eventually video games will be something u put on your head or over your eyes and it is whatever you want it to be and it looks real and is all real ( except its really not) . i think if u want u can remake the D-day battle or u could be robbing banks and it all feels and looks real. i think and hope thats wut future videogames will hold
