He he, I heard there was a new game council coming out this month called the phantom. (NOT SURE WHEN .SO DON'T ASK!!)

You can play any "new" games before they come out.pay ment would be like the X-box live thing.

I dont really like consoles. The computer is just fine with me. But where do you get all the information from?

From what I know "The Phantom" has already come out, and good luck finding it, since its just on the black market.

big Bro's theory is probably right becaise if it was legal. im sure it would be hyped about at leasta year in advance, like all other consoles. ya Ps3 is supposed to be commin 2004 but i avent heard about xbox2 in '06, could be right tho

That whole Phantom thing is a big load of bull crap. The only pictures of it are computer generated, and "Infinium Labs", the company that "made" the Phantom console, only has one guy working there. Check the contacts list... quite funny.

Xbox 2 is suppose to be ready the same time PS3 is.

Microsoft said that they're not going to let Sony get a headstart on the next console war, so it looks like they mean bussiness this time around.

I sure hope that the next three Oddworld games can be released before Xbox 1 gets overtaken by Xbox 2.

Im not worried, Once xbox 2 comes out I will transfer all my data off my hardrive from xbox to xbox two. Being i think they will of course play with almost all the same accessories, etc, and play the original xbox one games. So in the end Im not worried at the current time.

you guys may be right but i doubt very much that xbox 2 will be ready xmas '04 especially considering the fact that Halo 2 isnt due out Q1 of '04, i doubt they will make halo 2 then 6 months later come out w/ xbox2.

Hello GTdragon. I would look forward to these new consoles, but they are still a long way away. I wonder if developers could create games that are like playing in an FMV. That would be very awesome. *starts saving for PS3 and Xbox2*

It would depend which one has a game on it I want to buy first. If an Oddworld game comes out for Xbox2 first, it would be that ... if a FF game comes out for PS3 first, it would be that.

I find it quite frustrating that you've got to buy new consoles to play all of your favorite games. I had to get an Xbox for Munch and a PS2 for FFX. So although I would look forward to improved graphics, I would hope there are a few more years left in my consoles yet.

i completely agree i think theses console lives have been so short, look, the gap between ps 1 and ps2 was 5 years and they both did just fine, i think both companys shouldnt even think about the next console untill ATLEAST holiday '05

I sure hope not but if it is then I will dish out some cash and go buy the stinken system hehe. I can't wait for the two systems. though I honestly balieve they should hold those two systems off for at least a few more years because the X-Box and PS2 hasent even soaked in with us yet. I talk about this in my other thread. I mean the developers make it sound as if it is a stupid race. Its crazy I tell ya!:eek:

i get my info from the one website with basic tech info....and if you really don't like consoles..that's just kinda disturbing.

This was three or four months ago now but I read some inteview saying they have not been thinking about PS3 at all as they haven't pushed PS2 to the limit yet.

ya GT i got the new game boy advance Sp and it is so sweet. but neway u say the ps3 looks the same. but i think wut u saw is a someones idea of what it may look like because they havent even started the production of them and there is no official desgin of what it will look like yet
