Just discovered that I live 30 miles from Oddworld!
 

That is, the people who design and make the game of course. I wonder if they would be ameniable to visitors. Anyone been there? :cool:

Well I live far but not extremely around the world. I live in Ohio so maybe I could take a vacation there and get a picture of OWI. Is it in California? Gosh your lucky! Hey be careful of paramites and Scrabs, who knows they might do exist because of some secret government expirements that went hey wire. and thats where OWI got there idea for the Paramites and Scrabs. HaHa!

Lisa, from what i understand, Pilot and AbeBabe were the only fans allowed into the studio (i think)
so don't get your hopes up!

ya i'm like an hour away from 'em myself.

They are in California. My friend has been there as he is works for fedex and does deliveries. He says the whole place and working environment is awesome! :cool:

Theres not much of my kind left here where I live. I live in Tennessee (born here,live here)where I dont have many friends mainly because theres not many of my kind around.Most people are hardcore fishermen or deer hunters I on the other hand like skateboarding . I feel like an outcast because Im not normal by TN standards.

Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Yes, I have been there. They don't let just anyone walk in off the street. The only true fans that have been able to visit have been Abe Babe and I. In fact, they've got a camera in the front entrance so they know if someone's trying to enter the building. The only way one can get in is with express permission from them in advance. And even then, they're still not just going to "grant" you admittance. Sorry.

Pilot pretty much covered what I would have said. It's something that doesn't happen very often from what I have heard, and seeing only two fans have been allowed in over the past few years, this would certainly be the case.

I'm the other lucky fan to have been to the studios. If you want to see what it's like though, there are a series of features on my visit and also photos from Pilot's visit at http://www.oddworld.au.com/necrum-mines.
