You don't forget things on here, you just press the arrow keys back a bit and put it in.

I don't do any sports. I don't play any either...

Not that I'm against it but I feel if you aren't good then it isn't worth it.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I totally agree with you I don't play sports eather the only phisical games I like to play is Bowling or Pool or golf. And I am really good at pool. I beat my friends like 10 times at playing pool. I even have my own professional pool table.

Sports

I play indoor and outdoor soccer almost all year, track in the spring and snowboarding in the winter. I play alot of others sports but not competitively. I think being involved in sports, or at least working out is very important for a persons health and for all of you who say otherwise stop making excuses, get off your butt, go run some laps, do some push-ups and try to honestly tell me you don't feel a little better about yourself. If you aren't good at sports that means you never really tried hard and now it is probably too late.

EDIT: Sorry, I just realize that came out a little more obnoxious than I wanted it too. But I still think it is true.

I played Hockey (on a field, we don't have the ice kind here) since I was six and I did try hard, but I just wasn't good. So I quit.
If you aren't built for sport, then you aren't.

Very true Facsimile. Some people just aren't good at sports, in the same way some people aren't good at drawing, writing, maths, or anything. All you can really do is try your best. I'm one of those people who aren't good at sports. I can remember in school I would try out for some sports teams (netball and volleyball if I recall correctly) and I would always miss out. Although I did make a swimming team once, and represented my school in a lame sport called crossball. And once we were going to form a girls football team, but there was not enough interest.

As for me, I don't play any sports as such, but I do tai-chi for excercise and relaxation, and I enjoy walking. I'd like to start taking up bushwalking.

I play no competitive sports at the moment. I used to when I was younger, Cricket, Tennis, Gymnastics.

I actually would still like to continue Gymnastics. It kept me very fit, and I was actually good at it :p

As for now, I prefer to play non-competition Squash (or Racket Ball for the Americans). Me and my mother sometimes go out and play it, which is enjoyable. I value the time.

And Khanz, people do try. I have tried, but sports isn't something that comes naturally to me. I participate, at the least. I dispise Jocks, and their thinking that they'll grow up to be sport stars, when in reality 99% of them will end up working in McDonalds for the rest of there lives.

And, I too love walking. I walk home from school everyday except Thursdays, it's about 3-4km, I enjoy it because I actually drift along thinking. It's amazing, because I sort of don't even know where I'm heading, I just think.

Very true there is nothing like a nice walk or a bike ride or a hike on a Spring Day or morning where I live. It actually helps a lot with my peformance in my art not to mention makes me feel rather refreshing. After all my winters are horriable and makes you sort of want to stay inside all winter but when Spring and Summer come its just so refreshing and really nice to go outside and walk or explore that you would be crazy just to stay indoors all day. So I like relaxing, sports. Its those really brutel competitave sports I stay awey from. Thats why I can't stand sports Jocks. Mainly its the recreational thing I prefer over the other.

TheKhanzumer 03-06-2003 11:02 PM

I should have said something like:
People who are bad at sports are generally not in good athletic shape or do not have a passion for it. I think most people should play at least one sport that they like, as it developes muscle, coordination and keeps the body healthy, but they should not force themselves to do something they don't enjoy. If you really have a passion for something you will work hard to get better at it and giving up is just a sign of laziness.

Its laziness I think is a bad trait, not being bad at sports. Hope that clears things up.

MojoMan220 03-09-2003 11:41 PM
