Why do Sligs advance in every game?

Abes oddysee indroduced the slig
abes exoddus introduced flying and crawling sligs
munchs oddysee indroduced big bro and valet sligs

Why'd they do it?

well in the games we discover more and more things, it's logic, no?
and the sligs are one of the most important super species

Whats so wrong about discovering more types of Sligs? It gives us a chance to view more of the Inhabitants that live on Oddworld. Pluse we got to see the Vykkers and Interns, etc.

It's good they advance but don't worry about it, they'll come up with something else in the future...

I'm hoping for the day when I see armies of sligs with tanks for pants! Someday sligs (and even interns) will be useless to the glukkons and they'll find something else to do their dirty work.

Maybe reptile was complaining about the general over advancement of sligs.

I mean, if they keep adding new shit, pretty soon sligs are going to be everywhere, and in every form. flying, aquatic, invisible, big bro, speedy, hovering, bazookas, roller skates, electricity shooting, and so on..

You gotta have advancement in games, its what keeps them alive. I mean look at AE compared to AO. It introduced mudokons of various emotions and health states: Blind, wired, angry, depressed, sick and workable. Would we be as interested if they kept the boring "hello, follow me, wait" concept?

well I'm sure we will see sligs around for a pretty long time you know, they are the police and army force of the Magog Cartel, and you can't remplace them as easely as you would like to.

What's wrong with keeping and evolving existing creatures?
Do you like oddworld or not? Then you gotta like what living on oddworld. Sligs and mudokons seem to be very important on oddworld.

In the Worms games series you allways play with the same Worms, but the experience constantly changes. When done right, keeping and evolving existing stuff is better then bringing something completely new.
