Do you think Lorne Lanning will always do all the voices?
 

My thoughts on this are as follows:

Sligs can be voiced by just about anyone. Munch can also be voiced by someone else.
I'm not saying Lorne Lanning is a bad voice actor. In fact I admire him for having the guts to voice all thoes people.
But I'm just sayin' that, if the Oddworld concept were used in, say, a cartoon or something (CG of course, Abe would never look good in an outline), would there be openings for other actors?

What do you guys think?

If there ever was a cartoon or something (which I would kill myself if it happened) I think he would do them all. Otherwise, I'd be forced to revive myself and kill myself again.

Myself, I think having a limited number of people doing voiceovers saves cash. Particularly if you're using less-known people for it.
And you know how much over-doing something can often kill it. I use South Park as my example here.

I think Lorne should allways do the voices of Abe and Munch!
for the rest it's less important, but Abe and Munch must be done by Lorne

Yeah, definitely any characters he's already voiced should remain his responcibility. It always sucks when voice artists and actors change eg: Fresh Prine of Bel Air, Crash Bandicoot, the Simpsons, loads more.

A handful of voices have already not been done by Lorne, but I guess as long as he can keep coming up with intriguing and fitting sounds, that's all that matters.

You're right xavier, Lorne must do abe and munch coz if someone else did them, it would sound stupid and people would go off them.
But anyway there's lots more characters coming into the game, and how many voices do you think Lorne can actually do.

well I simply lorne will keep the characters he allready owns but I have nothing against someone else making Squeek's voice, but if someone begins with squeek, then he have to do it all the way

Who was changed on those two?

The actor who played the mother of the family was changed, and many people think that's when the series jumped the shark. And Crash Bandicoot, are you kidding, the voices change practically with every game. Take a look (listen?) to the changes undertaken by Coco between Crash 2 and CTR, N. Tropy between Crash 3 and CTR, Uka Uka between Crash 3 and CTR (though he changes back again in Crash Bash and WoC) and almost all of the voices in WoC, especially N. Gin and N. Tropy.

She talks? I havn't played Crash in a while though so she probably does.
Going further off topic what ever happened to Crash's bit- I mean girlfriend? I think she turned into his sister.

I think Lorn will do the voices for all the heroes and as the characters start getting more complex in their stories and such more people with more talent will be getting envolved. Thats how I look at it. But Lorne will do Squeek I bet because his story is more important then Abe's.

Naughty Dog decided that Tawna was too politically incorrect (they described her as Pamela Anderson with brains on their website), so they got rid of her and replaced her with Coco. You can still see Tawna on a picture on the mantlepiece in Crash 3 and WoC.

I don't think they will change the voices because if the do it wouldn't be the same.
