Fleeches are scary................
I think the most horrible and evil thing that Abe confronts are fleeches.They wake up and chase Abe and hit him with ther tongues and then slurp him up.MY GOD!!!!!JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURE TO THE LEFT!!!!!Pure and sinister evil...anybody agree?And how do they eat him?It defies the law of physics!Give me a reason why they aren't SCARY!(ALL FLEECHES MUST DIE.no offence to good fleeches)eeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

sorry bout that.I was going into hysterics and convulsions at the time.I still think they're really freaky and should stay away from Abe.If you like fleeches so much, what oddworld character do you dislike running into.

I always figured that they had a super strong stomach acid and extremely sticky tounges. then the awfoul is so tender from mixture with thousands of bursts of acid is fed to the slurgs, which have no need to have bodies any tenderer than their food.
Okay, maybe I watched a lot of Bill Nye the Science Guy after school too, but what else does PBS have? Nova?! |

I have a theory. I think maybe fleeches have to soften their prey with their tounge. After that they crush the tenderised meat with their already powerful jaws.

They seem to have the same capabilities of those man eating snakes (I can't remember the name for them)... that can eat a fully grown animal (like the size of a cow) in one gulp. They then store the carcass inside their bodies until it is digested.
Fleeches seem like that... except of course the digestion is hugely accelerated. Abe Babe... |
I hate fleeches, they give mke the zoinks, thats why i hate necrum. Well anyhoo here is my theory on fleeches.
-----------evil theory mood swing--------- okay well the fleeches are invertabrae creatures. So they depend on a moderately hard skin. that skin (and organs) is expandable so they only have to get the enemy down the troat. that part is simple to, the fleech has a chemical substance that replaces saliva. They use this acid as well as their tounge to weaken the victem. So even a simple scrab can be sucked up by this beast. The acid is very powewrful and the acid inside its digestive organs are much more powerful. The victem gets burned and melted straight away by the acid that it takes a few seconds for the victem to be shrivelled up. And the ocasional burp tops it up! |

Fleeches are annoyng, but they DO NOT defy laws of physic. For an example, many species who live kilometres deep in the sea, they can devour a prey which is larger then themselves! And that's true btw.

I dont like fleeches because they are scary and make the game too hard for me, even though i have beat the levels with them. I would only like them if abe could posses them *** good idea for ME***
