Freaking me out...
Okay, this all started a while ago. Few months ago i'd say. What's been happening is, I went over to the vBulletin vB3 beta site (before it was shut down) and sent myself a PM to test the system out. Now, the Private Message ID was "437" which is, my User ID here on the OWF.
I thought, "hey, what a coincidence!". Little was I too know that the last two numbers 37 (3 and 7) would begin to haunt me wherever I go. Now, wherever I go I see 37 in mostly everything. Clocks, alarms, prices etc, etc. I'm officially freaked out. Why just now, I went to check how long till my radio would auto-turn off and it read: "00:37". I hate Maths, Maths is trying to kill me :p I also know a little bit about how certain numbers to tend to occur to people often. But, anyone else experience something similar? Alcar... |
That is kind of freaky. Though try useing that number at betting. You never know! It could be your lucky number if you don't have one. I remember one time myself the number 8 was rather frequent around me. I found out that 8 was my lucky number. Now 8 is my desagnated number. I use that number a lot. If I were you expierment with that number you could be on to something.:D

If you tell someone to pick an odd number between one and fifty, chances are they'll pick 37. I think it's because both digits themselves are odd, but I forget the exact reasoning. 37 has popped up around me quite a bit, but I'm more likely to encounter the number 69. It just appears all over the place. Hymn numbers, door numbers, phone numbers. It's quite funny :D |

Numbers can be funny sometimes because they show up in the most wierdest places. I remember one time I am sitting in an English class and out of nowhere a small black number 2 falls off the top of a light on the cieling landing in my lap. It was one of those refrigerator magnets. I guess it was just lieing on top of the light. I don't know how it got up there. It was just odd but funny sort of. |
the number 12, it's like looming over me, but its a good thing, becuase when I have 12 of something or the number 12 is around when something happens, its good...O.o its weird....

Biblical Numbers
Both three and seven are used frequently in the Bible. Three represents the trinity I guess, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Seven is used to symbolize perfection. It is made of three (explained already) and four which represents North, South, East and West, the four farthest reaches on our planet. And no, that does not mean Christians think the Earth is flat, though some idiots do. The Bible actually says that the Earth is round (in the Old Testemant I think) and that it hangs in space as opposed to the common beliefs at the time, like the greek god Atlas.
Sorry, I got of on a tangent. I think it is wierd when the Bible is right about scientific facts before scientists "discovered" them. The point I'm making is: Are you religious? Do these numbers mean anything to you? |

Well, I have almost the same thing happening to me.
In the mornings at school, they have a TV with a clock screensaver. I'll be zoning out, listening to the teacher drone on, and I'll look up at the TV. It is always exactly 9:11! I don't even consciously do it! Every time I absent mindedly look at the TV it is 9:11! And it never does it again until the next morning! Weird huh? |
