Mudakon shaman?
I was looking at my profile. And there i discovered that there stood my status is a Mudakon shaman. That isn´t possible! so why does the profile say this?

I don't know, but my profile says I'm a mudokin slave.But when I reply it says gabbit tad pole.I think the profiles are all screwed up.Or, they are hiding something and soon they will kill us all. :eek:

I think I'll help the admins explain this:
The custom titles under your name based on your number of posts differ from your title in your profile because the admins added the custom titles through editing the cgi file and there is no way to make the 2 titles the same. I don't know why in some profiles it says Shaman and some it says Slave though, perhaps they DID get it to change according to the number of posts for that title too. And Dakkan, I'm assuming Dragadon did this: 1. Asked nicely. 2. Submitted picture. 3. Selected it |

Pacen is part right... UBB only actually allows for two status levels... which is what we had originally... Mudokon Slave and Mudokon Shaman. To get the many levels we have now, I had to install a hack/modification.
However, this Modification doesn't work for the profile pages... only for the post pages. I think you're the second person to get confused with this... so I'm going to change it to a standard "Member" listing on the profile page. This way ... no more confusion! Everyone will be listed as a member in the profiles. Abe Babe... |

Abe Babe I think I read somewhere that we were going to have another kind of title based on the number of posts, perhaps presented as an image. You said this would change less frequently than user titles as I recall is this similar to the way it works at the Final Fantasy IX HQ forums where they have custom titles and a number of stars representing how many times they've posted? If it is, could we perhaps be using icons of Abe's Head rather than stars? I think that would be pretty cool. |
The pictures are really tiny, so having little Mudokon heads would be so tiny you wouldn't be able to tell what they are. We've decided to stick to stars.

I suppose Mudokon heads would be a little small for the ranking icons, I wonder what will be used instead. :confused: |
