MMORPG: Oddworld style!
I hope the Oddworld Inhabitants are thinking about making one of the next Oddworld games a MMORPG (Perhaps Hand of Odd). It would be heaven for us Oddworld fans with Xbox Live. What do you think?

*then realises he hasn't got Xbox Live or cable* Now, to actually contribute to this thread. I'd love to see Hand Of Odd like that, however I think Alf has increasingly let on that the Habitales and Faraetales are dead, although Hand Of Odd was mentioned so it possibly was just swapped over. Alcar... |
I think it would be a great idea
anyway lorne said that Hand Of Odd will be playable ONLY online to bad if you don't have xbox live then |
 How did you make the words move and stuff on your post Alcar? That's awesome!!!
And back to topic, I will probably never get Xbox Live because I can't get even normal powered internet let alone high speed, as I live on the boundry of town. It sucks bad. That is if I even want Live. I don't think I do. |
well I want but I have to wait until march |
what's a mmorpg
Ok, I know the words Massively Multiplayer ... etc.
But what is such a game all about? I've never played one. Is it like an adventure-game? What is the goal of such a game? What are the game-mechanics? ... In other words: I can't tell wether I want an Oddworld MMORPG if I don't know what it is. |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! And yes Xavier, you need to play quite a bit of FF's to get in to them. But then they are the greatest. |
I have to try again then

I hope the quintology games arent going to be like that. But for another seris of Oddworld games then perhaps. But I say have the quintology stay as it is now as a regular game where we alone discover the world not as a multiplayer. And then for Hand of Odd or the others make them into online games so we could play with others since those seem to ment to be played as multiplayer. I don't think the quintology is ment for multiplayer because of their nature. Its a cool idea but for the quintology it just wouldn't work because not everyone can get that.
