Skylla in Greek Mythology???
 

I was on a site that was about all different types of monster, mythical creatures, marvelous animals, etc. n i noticed a creature called the "Scylla". Well that is rather similar to "Skylla". soooo i checked it out n here's wat it said: A sea-monster that guards one side of the straits of Messina. Scylla had six heads, and around her waist is a ring of barking dogs. She seizes sailors as they pass through the strait. Originally she was a beautiful nymph who was transformed by the sorceress Circe out of jealousy. She did this by filling the sea where Scylla was bathing with terrible serpents and by enchantment, they became part of her body. YOU DECIDE! well, it is a HER...n it is UGLY...n the picture depicts the extra head on TENTACLES. go figure!

well, i wouldn't be surprised if "skylla" was derived from "Scylla." If you read some of Lornes' interviews, particularly one in Next Generation mag., you would know that he has many resourses with which to refer to.

Research, it can go a long way.

Well what was on this mag you are talking about? well this greece monster has tentacles - like sligs. But I don´t think it has any similarity to the slig queen. This skylla has more realation to humans.
